Garden City Cavy Club is having our Mega Pet Show and double purebred show this Saturday, with a judge coming from Australia. 😱

If you haven't shown your Guinea Pig before, come along on the day with your Guinea Pig and enter them in the Mega Pet Show. Entry is from 11.30 a.m. to 11.45am, with the Mega Pet Show starting at 12pm, so don't miss out! 🤩

Entries close at 10pm tonight for the Double Pet Show & Member Pet Show; if you haven't shown before, you can enter on the day between 11.30am and 11.45am, with the Mega Pet Show starting at 12 pm starting with Member Pet and the novice pet show followed by the nine fun novelty classes. 🤩

Remember to make your Guinea Pigs fancy dress; the theme is Prebbleton history; this class is free for those entering Member or Novice Pet Show! 😱

We also ask that all members bring something for our multi-draw raffle; this doesn't have to be related to Guinea Pigs. 😊

Calling all Canterbury Guinea Pig owners! 🥳

Garden City Cavy Club will be offering nail clipping and mite treatments for only $10 per Guinea Pig at our next show on 5th October, from 11.30am to 12pm. 😊

2020 NZ Runner-up Vet Nurse of the Year Barbara Coles says, "Regular nail trimming and parasite treatment prevents health issues such as open wounds/sores, pain, and discomfort. It is an important part of cavy care."

Garden City Cavy Club is having a Mega Pet Show on 5th October, with judges Michelle Parker from Australia and Julie Hutt from Christchurch. We recommend all Guinea Pig owners to bring their Guinea Pig along for this fun show, filled with fun and a chance to win some awesome prizes, so don't miss out! 🥳

Member Pet Show: (Shown Before) ($5 per Guinea Pig to enter)
❤️ Junior - Owner 16 years of age or under, then split into Roughcoat, Smoothcoat & Longcoat (Coat type of Guinea Pig)
❤️ Senior - Owner over 16 years of age, then split into Roughcoat, Smoothcoat & Longcoat (Coat type of Guinea Pig)

Public Pet Show: (First Time Showing) ($7 per Guinea Pig to enter)
