Dear Community,
I wanted to inform you that I've been contracted by several large veterinary hospitals in New York and will be working there as a Locum veterinarian for the next 8 months. SUMMER
As we enjoy the summer months with our pets, it's important to be mindful of outdoor activities, including traveling in automobiles and campervans.

Please remember never to leave your pet unattended in a car during hot days. Even a few minutes in a hot car can lead to overheating and irreversible brain damage due to hyperthermia. This situation requires immediate veterinary emergency care.

Let's prioritize the safety and well-being of our dear pets by keeping them cool and comfortable during summer adventures.

Wishing you and your pet a safe and happy summer!

In 1925, diphtheria affected an isolated village in Alaska. Due to the extreme cold, it was not possible to transport the medicines by plane or ship, so the transport of the medicines to the city of Noma was organized with the help of mushers (drivers or drivers of a dog sled team).

Around 1,800 kilometers had to be covered in five days. There were several teams and they took turns on different sections. The Norwegian Gunnar Kasen and his main dog Balto were the first to bring the serum to the village.

It turned out that Kasen had not made a mistake in choosing the main dog, because when the team had an accident, Balto helped his musher, saving him from certain death.

As the storm reached its peak and visibility became low, they crossed 85 km. Balto is considered a hero, and a monument to him was erected in Central Park in New York in 1925.

He was truly a hero, like all the other dogs during this mission. However, the dog that did the most difficult part of the work was Togo, who crossed the longest distance (418 kilometers). He belonged to Leonardo Seppala's team of dogs. Togo is the husky in the photo.

Togo was already known for his incredible leadership skills, which he demonstrated again in this race.

The mission was successfully completed and these brave dogs saved numerous lives.

One of the noblest American animals.

The wolf never eats corpses, neither animals, nor people; it spends its whole life with a partner, it does not mate with its mother or sister; it is a monogamous animal, it does not deceive.
If a partner dies, the wolf remains alone; it knows its young ones well: it is the only animal that helps their parents after deep old age and brings them food.
When you kill a wolf, it looks you in the eye until its soul gives out; it's 25% smarter than the smarter dog, and it's the only animal that doesn't obey training, they say...
*sometimes the bad thing in the movie is not how they portray it

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF MY CLIENTS AND FUTURE ONES. THANK A FARMER.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF MY CLIENTS AND FUTURE ONES.

THANK A FARMER.

It's funny how a farmer spends countless hours getting the land ready, from plowing to planting. He spends $1000's of dollars on fuel, equipment, and repair bills. He spends many hours praying for rain or sunshine instead of sleeping. He sweats like no other job will make you. He works like most people wouldn't.
He gets yelled at and cussed out by people who get caught behind the tractor traveling down the road, and he spends many times of the day wondering if it's worth it! The deer, coyotes, hogs, c***s, gophers, grasshoppers are just a few pests to contend with!! He does all of this for what??? Ask yourself, "Why would he do that?"
The answers are all around you. The plate of food sitting in front of you, the clothes on your back, the shoes on your feet, and the last answer is the one that puzzles most people. It's the dust, love for agriculture, and the satisfaction of knowing he has done his part at the end of the day! I'd like to thank all the farmers out there who help make the world go round!
God bless our farmers!

It could potentially become available in New Zealand.
In the meantime, Dr. Miguel Maqueda Veterinarian is offering house calls to allow your cats and dogs to remain in the comfort of their own home without the stress and anxiety associated with transportation & veterinarian offices!

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) this November approved Bonqat, a nerve pain medication for cats to alleviate acute anxiety and fear associated with transportation and veterinary visits.
