💖 My favorite thing about Ralph
My favorite thing about Ralph is seeing how much confidence he has built since coming out with Zoomies. Also, all the cuddles 🥰 and cuteness 🐾 that Ralph loves to give me!

🎓 One thing I’ve been working on with Ralph
One thing I’ve been working on with Ralph is some basic puppy training and commands. Ralph is doing amazing at sit, wait, and down, and the next thing for him to learn is touch ✋. These skills are great to teach a puppy early on, as they’ll understand them as they grow up, making it easier to get their attention when you’re out on walks 🐾.

Ralph’s favorite thing to do is run around with all of his friends 🐾 or sit in front of you like the best boy and look so cute 😍 that you have to give him a treat! 🍖

To kick the year off we are doing a Zoomers bootcamp 🐕 At the end of every adventure, we are practicing and perfecting our Zoomies commands in a solo and group setting:

🐾 Jasmyne’s Paw-sonality of the Week: Frankie 🐕

Breed: Labrador

My favourite thing about Frankie
Frankie has the most contagious happy and bubbly personality! No matter the day or what’s going on, every time I arrive to pick her up, she greets me with a wagging tail and the biggest smile. She never fails to brighten my day.

What I’ve been working on with Frankie
When Lisa first met Frankie, her excitement levels were through the roof. Over time, she has come such a long way with her amazing mom Emma and we all couldn’t be prouder of her progress!

One of the key things I’ve been working on with her is her stick obsession. Frankie loves sticks—she would search high and low for the perfect one! While her enthusiasm is adorable, sticks can sometimes make her overly hyped, leading her to ignore cues or get a little wild.

To help her manage this, I’ve been teaching her to balance her love for sticks with calm behaviors. On the flip side, we’ve also discovered that sticks can be a helpful tool for Frankie. If she gets overexcited during playtime, giving her a stick to chew on and sniff while taking a little “me-time” helps her settle down. It’s been incredible to see how she’s learned to regulate her energy while still enjoying her favorite activity.

Frankie’s favourite thing to do
Frankie’s all-time favorite activities are collecting sticks and going for a swim. She especially loves splashing through the muddiest puddles she can find—nothing makes her happier than a good mix of water and dirt!

Frankie has made amazing strides with her excitement, and I’m so proud of how far she’s come. She’s an absolute superstar! 🌟

Our first ever Santa Snaps for Sensitive Paws was a huge success 🎅🏻 Thanks to everyone who came out for it (including a rescue hedgehog 🦔 🤪) 🎄 This event was tailored to include the whole family— even those dogs who have big feelings and need extra support to feel safe when capturing a family memory 📷

Massive shoutout to Brie— who was Santa! Brie and I met through the training of her dog, Rodney , who has big feelings. She came up with the amazing idea for this event, inspired by Rodney. She also was in charge of most of the decor and making today look as fabulous as it did! Rodney was a foster fail with Brie through Wandering Angels Animal Sanctuary , making it only fitting that the proceeds go to support the sanctuary 😊

1. Next week (December 16-20) is Zoomies Howl-iday Cheer Challenge 2024!

Leave your Zoomers Christmas cheer costumes out for us to put on for their adventure(s) this coming week! 🎅🏻🎄

The winner will receive:
-1 free adventure
-a Zoomies collar of their choice

All costumes will be voted on and chosen by a panel of judges who are previous guests on our podcast Lisa & Roo ⭐️

2. Next week is also our FINAL week of Zoomies for the year 🎄🎅🏻 We will re-open ready to zoom into the next year in January 13th 😊

Happy 1st Birthday to Colin 🥹 It’s been a quite the roller coaster 🎢 ride since we met in March 🐾

Colin has an immense love for life and basically everything that moves— training with him isn’t always a ‘walk in the park’, but when he focuses, he is an A++ student! He is curious and inquisitive and smart, but also silly and stubborn. Working with his multiple personalities (Naughty Nigel, Clever Trevor and now energiser bunny) continues to keep us on our toes. It’s been hard to remember that the big man is just a puppy with every growth spurt!

He wouldn’t be where he’s headed without his mom, Dorthea’s, intentional dedication and grit to his success 👏 So him turning 1 is a huge success to her and her husband Michael too 🥳

Remember training a puppy is a journey and you may need to strap in to your seat and ride the roller coaster sometimes ❤️

My favourite thing about Diego- His excitement for life and the little bum wag he does when I arrive to his house to pick him up

What I have been working on with Diego-
Diego loves playing and barking in the back of the van. We love when dogs do this during adventures, but encourage the dogs to be calm in the back of the van and then play and bark when they are out on their adventures. To help Diego learn to be calmer in the van I’ve been making sure he is calm and sitting quietly before he gets so he is nice and calm as he enters the van. I also make sure as he exits the van at the adventure he is calm and quiet before I let him out. If he’s unable to settle, then he is put in the front seat! (As pictured 😝)

Diego’s favourite thing-
Diego loves running around through all the bushes and muddy puddles following the big dogs
