This was on my way to Cambridge with my Mum, this morning 6am. while stopping for breakfast. I had a long day in the car with walks. Mum showed me a new place where we might be living, but will be visiting as she is going to be woking there.

Can anyone help???

Well, this isn't an easy post (draft 24, I think)
We find ourselves in a situation best described as the "planets colliding" versus "stars aligning."

With several things happening at once, & our plans B & C turning to dust, we URGENTLY need to rehome (or find long-term fosters) for at least 60 cats/teens & kittens.

We are permanently losing our temporary accommodation/ cattery space where many of our adoptable teens/adults & seniors currently reside.
Each & every one of them is adorable, some shy, some incredibly confident, none broken; their only fault is they grew up, aged & hence “less adoptable.”

With plan B&C gone, our home & foster homes full, they genuinely have nowhere to go.

If you are in a position to ADOPT:
Everyone is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped & registered, 42 days per insurance (*)
You must meet our adoption criteria, but we are waiving adoption fees for a time in favour of a donation, the value of your choice.

If you are in a position to FOSTER:
You need a secure space as fosterers are strictly indoors (unless you have a catio). We will provide food/litter, vet care if required, etc.
Given many are teens/adults, the period can be longer than kittens, as adoptions take more time.
To maintain supplies as needed close to/around the Pukekohe area is preferable.

If you can’t Adopt or Foster, please SHARE.
This isn’t a drill, an over-exaggeration or a pity party.

We will NOT tolerate any negativity & especially to our friends, who have been so kind to have given us use of this space. The situation is not one any of us want to be in. Their continual support for many years has been the difference for 100’s of cats between being rescued or being left living on the streets & in bad situations.

Please do not suggest/tag other rescues, most of whom we know well & as such, know how stretched they all are as it is.

Plan D would require a donation of $2 million dollars or thereabouts if anyone can help in that way.

(*) Some of our older cats don’t qualify for the free pet insurance.
