Lily has already made her mark! She produced KCN Lorenzo, a stunning c**t by our very own KCN Zak, who was snapped up before he even hit the ground!

Funnily enough, Lily was given to the same family to gain experience in the competition arena. She has been excelling under the capable hands of Leah MacNamara and she has fallen in love with her!

And here’s a special coincidence: Leah and Sasha’s late mother bred a beautiful pony by Crossiebeg Brennan, also named Lily, who they sadly outgrew and had to sell. How amazing that the legacy continues!

We can’t wait to watch both of these incredible horses in action! 🐴✨

He has been under saddle now for just over 3 weeks and yesterday accompanied our young stallion on an outing 2 hours away - he even popped over a few fences!

Flynn has spectacular energy in his movement. Beautiful mouth, willing nature and a great attitude!

He will tick over very quietly for a couple more weeks before having a well deserved spell.

What an exciting day for 5-year-old Chilli (by Rei Huia Che, out of Rei Huia Ginger) at his first outing yesterday.

Chilli has been progressing wonderfully under saddle—showing off his versatility and natural talent for any discipline. This weekend we chose Saddle Hunter and he didn’t disappoint.

With strong competition, a big atmosphere, and a head full of thoughts, Chilli held his own and showed so much promise.

Very exciting horse for the future! ❤️

🌟 Meet Rei Huia Ginger! 🌟

Exciting positive 16 day scan for Ginger (Sunset Sam LS/Gayana Royal (Genius)) to Crossiebeg Brennan – a fresh, different and exciting cross! 🐴✨

All of Ginger’s offspring have been truly exceptional!

Currently, we have a stunning yearling c**t by Cornet Obolensky, and he's shaping up to be spectacular!🤩

We also have a talented 5-year-old gelding by Rei Huia Che (Centavos x Primitive Rising), who's going beautifully under saddle – bold, correct, and ready to take on any discipline!

Previous foals include Rei Huia Lunar Eclipse (by Rei Huia Ranginamu), who was sold during the stud dispersal and is now excelling in show jumping.

Last season, Ginger was leased to a good friend and produced a gorgeous coloured filly by Mustang Roulette, who may be available at weaning 🥰🫣

We’re excited to finally open our page and share what’s happening here with all of you!

What began as a small group of friends helping Rae Healey find homes for her beloved Rei Huia horses—something she dedicated her life to—has grown into a true passion. We’re incredibly honored to be part of this journey, and it's led us to expand and develop our own small breeding program.

At KCN, we are a Boutique Breeding Stud, focused on creating horses with both quality and versatility. We are proudly based across two farms in Dannevirke and Levin, and are committed to raising exceptional horses with strong foundations.

2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year with some amazing foals on the way 🤩 and some fantastic young horses ranging from weanlings to 5-year-olds ready to impress.
