❗️We are looking for some local potential canine heroes to have on record in case we need blood donors. The process for blood donation is simple and relatively non-invasive. Your pet is often given a light sedation to settle them and a needle is placed in their jugular vein. Blood is collected until the required amount is received. We then give them a tasty meal as a thank you and monitor them for a few hours before they can head home. ✅

To be eligible they need to meet the following list:
- Temperament (must be friendly, well socialised and calm)
- Over 25kg and in good body condition (not over or underweight)
- Between 2-7 years old
- Never had pups
- Not on any medications
- Up to date with vaccinations and regular health checks
