Flurmonz Maine Coons Breeder of the unique and loving Maine C**n cats. I chose the Maine C**n breed because of their unique persona. No cost was spared.

My name is Judy Formby, and in 2008 I decided to breed Maine C**n cats after seeing Maineflame Brian Barau in a cat show. If you want something a little different, then the Maine C**n could well fit the bill. Over the years I imported stock from Norway and Germany and had access to bloodlines from Australia and Brazil. I became very passionate about creating the Boxy muzzle look in New Zealand, th

at I saw in Europe. Part of my development was to bench (show) and number of animals for judging under overseas and local judges, thus giving me valuable feedback on expectations. As I developed, the overseas breeders who took and interest could be offered young cats with judged history. One of my other interests is quilting. I have a Statler/Gemmel computerised quilting machine.

Cradled for the last time as they helped you pass.
You purred to the end, with your final sigh, I kissed you goodbuy.
The first night without you was empty and cold.
With God's blessing now, your soul will evolve...

Thank you everyone for your support... Eliza-Jane suffered black mastitis three days after giving birth to her first babies in 2011.....she was very sick... My Vet came to the house daily to hydrate her. After seven days one mamery gland erupted, leaving a massive hole.... Following my Vets instruction she healed surprisingly quickly. Eliza nursed her seven babies through the ordeal, cleaning and careing for them even though she was in terrible pain and enduring a massive hole that was the size of a kitten... I made a promise to Eliza back then, that she would stay with me forever if she survived this ordeal.
I kept that promise...
I never had another case of black mastitis.

When this first time momma had three babies one frosty morning.... Peter (my sheep support man) suggested I could support feed one of the babies. Having not seen this done before I figured to give it a go.... A week along now he comes to poppet has his feed then happily returns to momma.

when she snuggles up at night.✨
Together we get our fix,
with whatever series we're watching on Netflix.

It's hard to believe that she understands the theme,
But she earnestly watches it with me.
Not sure who nodds off first,🤔
but one thing for sure.... The Ipad always ends up beneath her. 😂

So many can relate to this.... You walk onto a room and see a perfect shot.... "Oh for the phone you left on the table" ..... Creep out quietly to fetch phone /camera.... Creep back into the room to find them lined up at the door all bright and alert, wandering what the hell your up to.

Today, I made it back... 😂😂

Almost to the end,... What a journey..
A big thank you to Elfin 'Val' who met the challenge with gusto.... Estimating eighty hours collectively ... I think it was more like weeks🤔😂😂😂... she even got hubby Elf 'Evan' hanging balls on the trees.
THEN: Val entered the display in the competition,... That sent me into a tail spinning, just about every Opp shop within an hours radius was on the radar to sauce second hand trees..... Hence over 40 trees joined the display and the name 'the Enchanted Forest' emerged.
Another Elfin joined the team, Elfin 'Barb' became our gate keeper... Was such a great idea.... Barb lives across the street, so knows all the locals which is a great help.... She is a dap-hand in the kitchen and would turn up with maccaroni cheese or cottage pie for the busy Elfin crew.... She's also quite the poet.... I will edit her poem in later....
Thank you to all our followers who liked the competition page.... We didn't get a mention, but not surprised as we didn't really fit in any category.... However I hear that a truckie mentioned on a National Radio talk show, that it is great to see the lights at night on their travels.... A special mention was made to us,... "little surpasses the lights at Halcombe"...
