Hey people, it's been awhile since I last cleaned someone else's tank. Health got the better of me, and I was unable to continue for a wee while there.
Now I'm back, and ready to take on some new tank cleaning clients in the Waikato.

For those who don't know me let me introduce myself. My name is Tyler and I am in my mid 30s with a passion for Aquairms big and small.
I wouldn't say I was an expert, but I am however far from novice entry level fish keeping.
I have been in the fish keeping industry for many moons, and will continue deep into the foreseeable future.

Evening all. How are we getting o with cooler months approaching? Have you checked your heaters are working properly?
Anyway.. so I've been away for 6days and returned home to this..
One slowly leaking fish tank.
Ugh.. out the fish go into temporary housing tank is now empty and drying awaiting a re seal.
How annoying..

Who else here treats their fish and or other animals on days like this weekend?
We eat chocolate, what do you give your animals?

My fish got fresh cucumber! ( not really a treat, but they loooove it)
But the dogs got some lamb treats each! 🐕 happy puppies 🐶

So I had what I thought was going to die, one very over weight sick looking cory..
So I thought, shes egg bound.
Add a bit of Melafix to my tank and hoped for the best.
That night when I got home, I have never seen so many eggs from.one cory before. They were everywhere!
Sadly have all been eaten now but im glad she survived
Never give up until they arnt breathing.

Fish tank fails!
Cmon guys and girls, Im sure we all have them..
So I have a clown pleco (L104) who is rather nocturnal, I never see it!
So anyway I recovered the air stones a few days ago..
And I came home from a night away to this...
Both air stones once again pulled from the gravel as apprently un sticking all my suction cups is a fun game 🤦‍♂️

Revamp on the discuss tank I've been.doing for a wee while now.. photo after gravel, filter, amd water change.
Plants on left wont be far of needing to take the plastic ones out.

Today I meet a new client who got me onto these bad boys..
Used on her tank, came home and had a crack on my own and wow!
I highly recommend this scrub as a glass scrub.
Stuck on algae.. no problem just dip and use abit of elbow grease, scrub and algae gone from glass.

Will use this on a few other bits and pieces and see how I go.

Tip to remember, if you use it for your tank, keep it for your tank. Don't mix and match scrubs, sponges, brushes, buckets, what ever you use. If if you have used them in your kitchen, bathroom or other parts of the house for whatever DO NOT USE for your fish tank!

I wouldn't class myself as an expert, I'm quite knowledgeable though in fresh and tropical water tanks.
And im not afraid to research something I don't know.
