Ginger Mama needs a new name and a new home 🏠 Mama Ginger is hands down a shelter favourite. She too arrived in care with her kittens and she has been so easy to care for as she is such a love.

She’s a lover of all people, fine with kids, fine with the other cats and kittens and she is also a lover of a good nap, meals on wheels and definitely a good play session.

Mama is about a year old, has been vet checked, desexed, started her vaccinations, she has been microchipped, registered and is up to date with her flea/worming treatments.

Mama is $220 to adopt and she is here at our Glenview Shelter.

Ah! Thank you so much to everyone who supported the pet food drive with the Lawrenson Group! There were so many goodies delivered and we have stocked up our cupboards for the coming weeks.

So many of you in our community have reached out and donated, dropped in donations and have supported us this year. We see you and truly grateful to have you support for the animals pouring through the Shelter all year round.

Your donations are used on veterinary care, medications, specialty food that save lives and catering to the needs of the animals that come in to care.

We see an awful amount of distressed animals, awful injuries and a great deal of patients in need. Our team is exceptional in making sure all bases are covered!

So yes, your donations via the Lawrenson Group pet drive or directly to the Shelter are always gratefully received and utilised.

Kittens found dumped at a bus stop this morning.

They are 3 weeks old.

We are asking for a foster family for these little ones as they will need 2 weeks of bottle feeding.

Our stunning super big guy, Skye, is now available for adoption. He is 20 months old, and Oriental x and he is such a love. He’s fine with the other cats, he has come from a loving home and grew up with his brother.

Skye would suit most types of homes, he’s a chilled out cruisey fella.

One adorable Lucy is now available for adopt! Lucy is 7 years old, an absolute sweetheart and she is in need of a comfy bed, a comfy couch and some pretty special people to claim as her own.

Miss Lucy has not been a street cat, she has unfortunately had to be rehomed as her parents were not allowed to have her in their new home. There were tears 😭

We all love Lucy, she’s loves attention, comes a runnin’ when she’s called and isn’t too bothered by the other cats and kittens in the Shelter.

Lucy has been vet checked, she is desexed, up to date with vaccinations, microchipped, registered and has been worm and flea treated. Lucy is also on weight management biscuits to help her lose some weight.

Easiest cat ever! Meet Summer 🌼🌼

You all know what I’m going to say….Summer also came into care with a litter of kittens and she was pretty down on her luck. Not in great shape and starving. Fast forward, after living a life of luxury in her foster home, Summer and her kittens thrived.

Summer is just the easiest cat, only about a year old, she is friendly, gentle, smoochy, playful (she loves our cat fishing play pool), fine with cats and kittens, lovely with children and a lover of all people.

Summer has been vet checked, desexed, started her vaccinations, she is now microchipped, registered, flea/worm treated. Summer is $220 to adopt and is at our Glenview Shelter.

Meet our beautiful Mama Jo!

Mama Jo is such a great cat, she’s super confident, friendly, absolutely fine with children, affectionate and try’s really hard to be “helpful” in the Shelter.

Mama Jo arrived with a litter of kittens and the whole family grew up safe and happy, thriving in their foster home.

Mama Jo is likely around 1-2 years old, she’s in great health and would very much plead with you all to help her find a home asap.

Mama Jo has been vet checked by our amazing vet team, desexed, started her vaccinations, she is now microchipped and registered and she is now flea/worm free! All adoptions are $220.

Thank you whanau for your generous koha of pet food, milk and funds. We collected $250 this year, plus the kai. 🥳 Today, a few of our jazzy cats (in their ears of course) and friends, delivered the kai to Paws 4 Life. We even got to spend a few minutes greeting the kittens and cats. They are tooooo cute! 🐱🐈❤ Thank you for your generous spirit, your dancers danced for good!

Ah! What a cat! Meet Stormie! He has Oriental somewhere in his family tree and he just oozes cool, affection, fun and has so much character! Honestly, he’s just the bees knees!

Stormie is 20 months old and his brother is also here in care. These boys have not been street cats, they have been completely over loved and exceptionally well cared for by their previous owners. The family had a change in circumstances and their heart broken to give up their boys.

Stormie will be completely fine in just about any type of home setting, he’s a real smooch, loves a good chat, is a bit of a class clown and I know his next forever home will just adore their new housemate.

Stormie has been vet checked, desexed, up to date with his vaccinations, he is microchipped, registered, worm/flea treated and he is $220 to adopt.

Goodness me, Fun Time Felicity is just the best little cat! She arrived abandoned, skinny, with a litter of kittens in tow. Kind of the same situation every day around here at the moment.

The kids are sorted and Fun Time Felicity is super keen to bust out of the Shelter and experience Christmas, in a forever home.

She’s loads of fun, very affectionate, up for playing, pretty good with the other cats, totally fine with kids and she absolutely loves everyone.

Felicity has been vet checked, desexed, had her first vaccination, she’s microchipped, registered, worm/flea treated and ready to go! All adoptions are $220.

Adopted 🩷🐾

Mr Graham would like to introduce himself. He arrived in the shelter really traumatised, balding here, there and everywhere but had a gentleness about him that had our team intrigued.

Fast forward and we now have a chubby, non balding, glossy coated happy fella.

Graham couldn’t give a hoot about the other cats and kittens in the shelter and is a big fan of being patted and doted on.

He would suit an adult only home, teenagers fine, and we wouldn’t know what he is like with dogs.

Graham is probably around 5 years old, vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, registered, and flea/worm treated. He actually has on a Seresto flea collar which will last until June next year, as this was his treatment for his flea allergy baldness.

As we have had some special donations recently, Grahams adoption is now reduced to $160.

TIPSY PUTT IS SUPPORTING THE LAWRENSON GROUP XMAS GIFT AND CAN DRIVE

Mama Bernie has conned Aunt B into giving her a ride to PetStock Cambridge today to try her luck at finding a forever home!

Mama Bernie found herself in the shelter with 4 kittens. They have all blossomed in care, her kittens are weaned and Bernie was happy to get some rest and relaxation time in.

Bernie is about a year old, fine with other cats, very social, gentle natured and loves everyone.
