Being the last baby to leave has its perks. Free ranging the household & getting all the cuddles as well as some crate training, with his mum all to himself.

After three months of caring for 13 barks and 13 tummies, there are no words for how grateful I am for the quiet ✨✨

Growing Babies & 💤 😌

Please remember when you take your bundle of joy home, they have been in a constant routine of sleep, eat, play , sleep….for the past 2 months. They don’t know any different.

Understandably everyone wants to come over and see the new baby, and have a play, but it’s VERY important they have their naps throughout the day, or they will become exhausted if kept awake and start displaying behaviour problems. Just like a human baby, without recharging they will have a meltdown!

The puppies sleep for approx 2 hours mid morning, 2 hours after lunch , 2 hours late arvo and sleep 9.30pm-7:30am.

They need this routine for their development and it makes it much easier later as they will use their crate to go back to when they need a rest and have some time out. Lots of play is fun but the noise can become overwhelming once they’ve had a session so be sure to make their crate cosy, somewhere quiet and away from foot traffic and distractions ♥️♥️♥️
