This tool is a game-changer for Sam, allowing him to remotely monitor the Dairy farm’s water tank levels from his phone. This is especially crucial during peak summer periods when droughts are common☀️

Ash from Vet Services Waipukurau and I just completed visit 1 of 9 as part of the Beef + Lamb New Zealand “we want your poo” trail looking into further research of Facial Eczema
For the next 5 months every fortnight we will be collecting poo samples, bloods (GGTs), live weights, weight gains and pasture cuts from the same 35 ram hgts.
Lots of recording and lots of data 📈📉📊📀🧑‍💻

👋 Welcome Sam Woodhouse, Territory Manager for Manawatu!

Sam grew up in Pongaroa on her parent's sheep and beef farm, where her passion for animals and farming first started.

Her career began straight out of university as a farm merchandiser for Elders Masterton, a role she worked for 1.5 years. Sam then spent 8 years as a Technical Field Officer for Farmlands, specialising in agronomy and animal health. Most recently, she worked as an Agribusiness Manager for Rabobank in the Wairarapa for 2.5 years.

"I’m deeply passionate about the agriculture sector and love helping farmers achieve their goals. I’m thrilled to join Gallagher team and can’t wait to get out in the field and support our customers."

On weekends, Sam enjoys spending time with her 4-year-old son, Jonty, riding her horse or working on her lifestyle block. She’s also enjoys playing netball and squash in her spare time.
