Lynmar Julie as a new born and now with her bull calf Lynmar Nixon ( Oops blonde moment and I spelt his name wrong on his tag. I will fix this one day🤣). Laura (Julie’s mum) is no longer with us, she passed away this year at the grand old age of 23 years old ❤️ great to have a few daughters to carry on her legacy.

7yo Fred. Doesn’t he look great. Still perfectly sound in body and temperament. He is one of our commercial bulls bred by Kerrah Stud. He spent the winter out on the hills working believe it or not 🤣

Lynmar Gauge will be at the Stortford lodge sale yards Wednesday 5th July. He is an ET by Y-Arta out of one of our old girls Lynmar Phoebe. At rising 5 he is very sound, feet, temperament and an all round gorgeous polled bull. He is one of my favourites and will be sad to see him go. We are moving to Homozygous polled bulls so have kept some of daughters to carry on his line.

Almost a month into calving here and luckily the weather post cyclone has been on our side (for a change lately) I’ll get some better photos soon 🥰 We’ve also just returned from a great trip up North visiting other Simmental and Commercial breeders who use Simmy bulls. Such an awesome breed of cattle 🤩

Out the back checking stock today the only way we can. By horse back 💕. Our cows are due to calve in 8 days and we’ve had 1 early arrival. Hopefully we can get tracks cleared to get them home before too many calves are born. We were very lucky compared to so many others in the cyclone and although have many fence lines damaged and slips everywhere. Our family, pets, homes and stock are all safe. It’s just devastation down below us 🥹😢
