We offer a home stay for dogs with daily walks as part of our day care and dog-sitting services. As promised… here’s more from our celebration for the birthday boy himself, Cosmo! 🥳💙

His actual birthday was on Monday, but today Uncle Alex arrived with one of his world-famous waffle cakes — and of course, we had to throw a proper pawty! 🧇🐾

Surrounded by tennis balls (Cosmo’s lifelong obsession 😂🎾), we gave him the ultimate birthday dilemma:
👉 Waffle cake or tennis balls?
Honestly… even we couldn’t guess which one he’d choose first! 🙈💛
Tough choice for a guy who wants ALL the tennis balls in the world.

Our little golden girl turned ONE a couple of weeks ago, but today we finally got to celebrate properly — Poppy’s Pawty with all her daycare besties! 🎈🐾✨

Poppy is one of the happiest pups we know: sweet, friendly, always ready for cuddles, and absolutely adored by every dog (and human!) at Rocky & Co. 💕
She brings sunshine wherever she goes — and honestly, with thousands of fans cheering for her online, she’s basically our in-house celebrity. ⭐📸

Today was all about cake, treats, zoomies, and big birthday smiles — the perfect way to celebrate our sweet birthday girl.

Before the wind decided to go full Canterbury mode, we squeezed in the most magical little Bubble Pawty at Rocky & Co. — and the dogs went absolutely WILD for it! 🤣🐾💛

We’ll be throwing him a proper pawty on Wednesday when our favourite dog-cake baker is in… but we couldn’t let today pass without celebrating our boy! 💙✨

Cosmo has been part of our Rocky & Co. family for over three years, and what a joy he is.
He is completely obsessed with tennis balls — truly believes every single one belongs to him 🤣🙄 — yet he’s still the sweetest boy with his fur-friends and will happily share the fun.

He loves his pack walks, thrives off-leash, and comes absolutely everywhere with us. All he wants to do is run, explore, and play his little heart out. 🐶🌲

A huge thank-you to his mum and dad for trusting us with him all these years. We love this handsome birthday boy. 💛🎂

Anna & Blair: the Story of how Rocky & Co. came to be.

We began dog sitting in 2014 when we lived in Redwood, Christchurch. Our idea was to offer a pet-sitting service with a “family experience”, as in the dogs that we looked after would stay with us inside the house (no cages or kennels) and would go on daily walks with me.

First, it was called Anna & Rocky Pet Care because we only had Rocky then. As the number of furry clients grew, it became a dream for both Blair and I to have a larger property where we could look after more dogs. In 2015, we purchased our current property in Clarkville, Kaiapoi. We also adopted Wookie in the end of 2015 and Jack in January 2017. Therefore, the name of the business had to change to something that would include all our dogs and their new friends. Rocky & Co. Pet Care was born!

We now have a large grassed area for the dogs to play and run around during the day.

And at night time, the dogs sleep inside the house in our lounge on any of our several dog beds and couches.
