Our facility offers a fun and safe place for your dog to enjoy while you're away on holiday or at work. We offer a home stay for dogs with daily walks as part of our day care and dog-sitting services. Happy Tuesday! We were excited to see 3 very special dogs today: Luke, Lily and Pedro. Because they live far away from us, we hardly get to see them anymore, but they were once regular dog daycare guests.
Plus, Casper is back after a couple of weeks recovering from surgery. Their presence made our day even more special. 🥳🥰

Life gets so busy that we forget how fun it is to sit with good friends and chat.

Today, it felt like summer ☀, and we could just see the amazing season coming around the corner.
To avoid heat exhaustion, we chose to stay home and enjoy the paddling pool, and the shade our garden has to provide. The dogs seemed very happy with our decision, and they had lots of fun running around or chilling out. It's so cool to watch dogs just being themselves and enjoying spending time together, be it with toys, chasing each other, or just relaxing with good ol' Aunty Anna here.

Anna & Blair: the Story of how Rocky & Co. came to be.

We began dog sitting in 2014 when we lived in Redwood, Christchurch. Our idea was to offer a pet-sitting service with a “family experience”, as in the dogs that we looked after would stay with us inside the house (no cages or kennels) and would go on daily walks with me.

First, it was called Anna & Rocky Pet Care because we only had Rocky then. As the number of furry clients grew, it became a dream for both Blair and I to have a larger property where we could look after more dogs. In 2015, we purchased our current property in Clarkville, Kaiapoi. We also adopted Wookie in the end of 2015 and Jack in January 2017. Therefore, the name of the business had to change to something that would include all our dogs and their new friends. Rocky & Co. Pet Care was born!

We now have a large grassed area for the dogs to play and run around during the day.

And at night time, the dogs sleep inside the house in our lounge on any of our several dog beds and couches.
