Sheidinice Kennels are a small breeding kennel in the township in New Zealand . All my ‘fur kids’ are members of my family first and formost with all being trained and successfully compete in the sport of Competition Dog Obedience and or Breed Showing. I pride myself on all my dogs having exceptional temperaments plus an eagerness & willingness to work. All my Border Collie breeding stock are DNA

tested by Orivet in Australia, which guarantees no puppy bred here will ever develop any of the vast terrible diseases that plagues Border Collies here in NZ, and all our beautiful Samoyeds are Hip & Elbow scored

All the pups I breed are registered with the DogzNZ ( formally New Zealand Kennel Club) on the restricted/pet register. The reason I do this and the reason the NZKC has this registration, is to help protect our beautiful breed from being sent to 'not so dog friendly countries' and to also stop unregistered 'Backyard Kennels' from breeding unregistered dogs. This procedure is designed not to put prospective puppy owners off, but to show that we take our breeding seriously and that even once they have left us and gone to their new loving family & homes, we always have their welfare in mind. Am happy to discuss with overseas people any puppy requirements they may have, except those from Asia, as Sheidinice Kennels DOES NOT support any exporting of dogs to Asian countries. I have owned Samoyeds now for over 25 years and Border Collies for 20 years and started breeding these lovely breeds well over a decade ago, as I wanted to learn as much as possible about the breeds conformations and Breed Standard and correct Structure, so that when making decision of a Sire or Dam, I knew what I needed to use to improve on what I had. Temperament and structure are FIRST & foremost the MOST important thing that we breed for.

Mummy bought me a new bed. I love these fluffy beds but mum says it's brand new and your getting a wash before you use it madden......
Well I showed her! I dragged it from the lounge to outside where I can lie and relax in comfort 😁

PUPPY UPDATE
Sorry to report, no appearance of Harvey/Lily juniors yet. They felt like big snakes & rather active during the night.
Guess they’re not in a hurry to make an appearance.
We’ll certainly update when they show up.
Lily not in a hurry either because she just ate breakfast!

Meet Ghost
I carried Ghost & Charm on until I was certain which pup i wanted to keep for showing.
Charm is my keeper, which means I now have Ghost available to go to a new home.
He is 14 weeks old & has had 2 sets of innoculations.

Crate training the puppies 🐶
Lunch in their crates, then a nap or relax in crate for at least 45minutes before they can run around again after eating to avoid twisted stomach/bloat, which all breeds are subject

PLEASE everyone read this below article. Lost one of our Border Collies to Twisted Stomach, so something we are very strict about, before & after meals

Trying to keep the puppies dry and clean during this weather has been fun? Lol This morning there having play time on the patio. The towles are from where I spilt their water bowl & trying to keep them dry The pups don't care about yukky weather as long as they can play!
