Saturday training with our Judge Ian Loader. We got a lot out of our training it was a great opportunity to work through the patterns for the classes on Sunday. It was exciting to have 9 rookie riders with the majority showing for the first time, Ian did a fabulous job explaining the different classes and what was expected. Thanks to everyone that came to Club day on Sunday it was amazing to see everyone, we had 13 riders at Woodhill Sands. A great day of learning patterns and how to ride them.
Everyone that was going to automatic payment the money into the club account please make sure you do it as soon as possible we have a committee meeting Wednesday.

Waioneke School, located in South Head, is excited to announce two Fundraising Treks and Walks in the stunning South Head area!

**First Trek: Te Rau Puriri Regional Park**
**Date:** December 7, 2024
Participants can enjoy a unique experience trekking across farmland and beach in parts of the park that are typically closed to the public. The ride will last approximately 2-3 hours, starting at 7 AM with a briefing at 9 AM. The route will be self-guided and clearly marked for both walkers and those bringing their own horses.

**Second Trek: Private Farm and Forestry**
**Date:** February 22, 2025
This is an amazing opportunity for participants to ride or walk through breathtaking farmland and lush forestry at the southern tip of the South Head peninsula. The views are truly spectacular! This trek will take about 4 hours, with the event starting at 7 AM and a briefing at 9 AM. Like the first trek, it will also be self-guided and marked for walkers and riders.

Raffles, BBQ, and cold drinks will be available at both events. Participants are advised to bring cash, as there are no eftpos facilities on site.

Hi everyone, thank you to those who have entered our Memorial Show, it is creeping up fast and we are excited to see you there on the 23rd and 24th of November.

If you still need to register, please go to our upcoming events area, it has the form to fill out on the Memorial Show event page.

This year we have added Level 1 (open) Classes in Showmanship, Horsemanship, Western Pleasure, Reining, Trail, Ranch Riding, Hunter under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation.

Level 1 at our show is for everyone - beginners and experienced as long as they have less than 25 (lifetime) points in that class. Any horse with any gear is welcome to come along and have a go in the level 1 classes.

# # We also have two beginner classes in trail and ranch, these are a lot of fun and great if you just want to have a go. # #

If you are interested in the clinic on the Saturday, get in soon to secure your spot before they go.

# # The patterns are almost finalised, once they are everyone that has entered will get a copy sent to them. # #
