Feral No More

Feral No More Feral feline families find me. They get fed. They move in. Potential human adoption prospects welcome. A FERAL FELINE BECOMES THE BEST FUREVA FRIEND

If you can take any of these beautiful animals that join my flock they're going to love you for it. Three Catio Captive wild cats slowly coming around to hooman, along with six inside ex feral cats and well over a dozen in the area of large, semi abandoned old industrial building and overgrown fields nearby. Run out of money every month without fail... Its pi***ng down and dark yet here I am out

in the weather, soaked through clothing, making dry spots in the usual food drop off locations so those that missed out in the bad weather have an opportunity to eat overnight. Bank details if you can donate...
38-9002-0885237-01

Also willing to accept supermarket or warehouse deliveries, food donations in person. Although have had a bit of trouble getting around Wellington to collect food when don't have a legal car...

I don't mention anyone who donates by name or identifying features... Out of privacy concerns for those lovely people. If you can donate anything and would like it known, you can comment, reply or post such yourself and I will be glad to openly converse with you. Publicity hound Beverly Dowling is still telling people that my cats are full of disease and I don't care for them. Having updates from a few families who have some of the beautifull felines helps with that garbage spewing from her mouth...

We Spend too much on these animals. I'm constantly running at a loss and appreciate loaves of bread and surprise Pizza Hutt deliveries as much as the cats do.. Is worth doing what we do. Some days have doubts

WORLD SPAY DAY
Updated monthly round up of desexing deals around New Zealand. Let’s get those pets desexed! -Helen

NOTE: We do not provide the desexing ourselves, we just publish information about deals so please contact the specific organisation directly if you have any questions.

If you know of any deals that we haven't listed here please pm us so we can update.

If you don’t see a desexing deal advertised for your area, we advise you to:
1) check the dedicated SPCA desexing website: www.spcadesexing.nz, and
2) phone all the area vets for a cost comparison, as vets do have different prices, and
3) contact your local SPCA centre to discuss desexing options in the area.

NZ WIDE

OH MY GOODNESS.
My bank accounts had less than a dollar between them and have not been able to give any food to the new colony... Just looked at account on the off chance something was in there to buy cat food today and there is fifty dollars and sixteen cents. Thanks to of this page and my exploits in the world of the EC group highlighting the struggle. It is real.

Will take phone with me in the hope of sharing some of these new cats... Also have a new dark grey and black cat eating food in the field near bus...

Yum YUMS thanks you all for the fifty dollars, despite it coming from one of you lovely people.

I woke hoomin up by heaving like MUMSY and throwing up a few pea sized clumps of bright orange bile. Hoomin gave me a massive pat on the back and dislodged a wee fur ball and went back to sleep. Got a big breakfast as I always do and that washed down the last of the rat bird combo I was eating at 3am...

Don't know why hoomins are awake in the daytime.

Idiots.

21/02/2024

Also good was meeting a couple from a town 30 minutes away up the road who drove in, threw food out and stopped to chat about helping the animals. Fully tattooed guy.. Head, face, hands... And his sister... Fu***ng nice people who most society would be scared of.. There we are feeding these run down moggies that dive out from the bushes, grab as much as they can and scurry away again...

Well to do old ladies scoffed and said those cats are horrible.

I told them they wouldn't be horrible if people fed them and got them to the vet. They didn't want to listen but I saw cat food in their bags as they went to cars.

Meanwhile us poor folk with obviously dubious pasts and illegal cars are spending money looking after these beauty animals that we can't really afford. But can't really deny.

What the actual f**k?

21/02/2024

✅Good news.
Spent twenty dollars on cat food

❌Bad news.
Gave ten dollars worth to the pregnant calico mum and her colony in the bushes before I got out the supermarket car park.

✅Have a trap
❌Have no real place to take care of them

✅Can build place
❌Funds

✅Fundraise
❌Facebook likes and algorithms

✅Save beauty mumma calico
❌Deal with health defects

✅Do it

No photos as don't take phone with me as can't afford to break another one... But will try...

Similar marking patterns to YUM YUMS but faded colours and bushy floofs tabby tail....

“Having many cats is good.

If you feel bad, you look at the cats and you feel better, because they know that everything is just the way it is.

You don't have to be nervous about anything. And they know it. They are saviors.

The more cats you have, the longer you will live. If you have a hundred cats, you will live ten times longer than if you have ten.

One day, this will be known and people will have thousands of cats."
