Heads up PAWsome fam - Levin is experiencing higher than normal cases of the deadly PARVOVIRUS.

PARVOVIRUS WARNING ⚠️😷

A heads up that Levin is currently experiencing an outbreak of the highly contagious parvovirus disease.

We are urging you to take precautions and make sure your dog’s vaccinations are up to date, so they are protected from this deadly disease.

Parvo causes depression and a sudden onset of profuse smelly bloody diarrhoea, vomiting and fever.

Parvovirus can survive in the environment for extremely long periods of time and can be spread from one dog to the other through direct and indirect contact.

International Dog Day is observed annually on August 26 to honour all dogs – no matter shapes, sizes, age and breeds – and encourage adoption to all those who have yet to find a home and a family forever.
