✴️✴️Desperately needing a home together…✴️✴️

Meet Barney and Robbie (Robbie is a female).
They are bonded and have lived together since being removed from a colony. They have not been outside cats for many years and not so well socialised with people but they are becoming more at ease with people now. They are not wild and do not scratch or bite but are just timid until they trust. They have been through a lot of stress with losing their home and carer 3 months ago. They lived in a house with 6 other cats so are well used to cats.
Robbie is about 4 years old and is neutered and chipped. She is more trusting than Barney and more outgoing. Barney is about 6 years old and is a wobbly cat – he is able to walk and get on furniture but he has slightly poor balance. He was rescued as a wobbly boy when he was young. Barney relies on Robbie for companionship and courage as he is quite shy. He also has been desexed and chipped. Neither of them have had vaccination so this may need to be done if required by a person adopting them. They are both short haired Tabby cats and are well toilet trained.

We are seeking a permanent home for these two lovely cats preferably together. They will become friendly when they trust and are used to their environment. They will require a quiet home with no children or noise. They may in time learn to go outside but will require being inside to some months to adapt to the new environment.

Joe, is a very loving and sweet nearly 3 year old Jack Russell cross,He’s a very friendly boy and gets along with other with other dogs
He is best suited to a home we’re someone can spend quality time with him and work on his training as he’s quite energetic boy. Not suitable for a home with Chickens and is getting used to cats
Joe hasn’t had a lot of training throughout his life, however he has shown improvement over short time we have fostered him
Realistically Joe does need a lot of training ( including lead walking) we are unable to keep him as we have free range chickens.
Please pm for owners details…:)

On TV Three tonight…🐕

These two puppies were dumped. I find that absolutely heart breaking. But these two cuties are just a tiny part of a crisis with dogs in our country.

It hurts me to say that 6500 dogs were put down by Auckland Council in one year. 💔

6500 dogs euthanised. 💔

The owners don’t care, they let them roam, and don’t pick them up when they are impounded. Then there are the attacks, the fear in our communities.

And these poor dogs just keep breeding and breeding. IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE DOGS. But we have to do something. I think most New Zealanders will be shocked by the scale of the dog issue.
It is now a major social problem up and down the country. I am calling it our “roaming dog crisis”. And it really is an issue for all of us.

PLEASE WATCH TONIGHT ON TV3. Please share this important investigation!!!

I truly believe our dogs deserve better.

Jen

She is a 2yr old collie x bully of some description. She's spayed, chipped and registered.

She's a medium sized dog with a whole lot of energy. She is a very "scaredy" dog and has a few issues. She is good on lead but is scared of having her collar put on but once you get going on your walk she's alright. I got her in February as she was supposed to be a pig dog but didn't work out. She has spent a bit of time on a dairy farm (not working) and she couldn't care less about the cows. She does well with most other dogs as she loves to play! Took awhile to come around to cats but I can trust her in the same space as them without supervision after she gets to know them. I'm unsure what she is like with small kids but she's good with older kids or anyone who'll give her a pat for that matter. She's super friendly and loves a cuddle she would climb in your pocket if she could. She's a very loyal dog. I've tried to get her used to car rides in the car instead of dog box, we have made progress but she still needs some time for that. She is ok with a crate or kennel. We are moving and she can't come with us which makes me sad but I know someone out there can give her a good loving home and in return she'll give you warm companionship ❤️
