I’m Kate and I’ve been a vet nurse for 12 years and have a very soft spot for senior and small dogs.

I offer an alternative to sending your dog to boarding kennels by opening my home up to caring for your dog in a home environment.

Meet suzie and Bobby who have just come into my care and are looking for their forever homes.

Suzie is the long haired chihuahua and is almost 4. She’s an absolute hunny and will be your constant shadow.

Bobby is the short haired chihuahua and is 2 years old. He is terrified of everything but is slowly coming out of his shell and building confidence.

They have had a big week experiencing a lot of firsts. First time wearing a collar, being on a lead, having a bath, sleeping on a comfy bed, eating dog food and being around other humans.

Both have had a very rough start to life so will need owners who will have the time to slowly help build up their confidence being out in the big wild world and around people.

I swear she gets cuter as she gets older ❤️ Beautiful Ruby is almost 15 and has lymphoma and bad arthritis. She now enjoys the simpler things in life like sniffing in the back yard, naps and car rides ❤️

In the next few weeks when calving starts I will be spending a lot more time out on the farm with a lovely new herd of cows and calves 🐮
Due to this and now having another dog at home full time, i am going to have to start limiting dogs coming to stay to weekends or most of their stay being over a weekend.
There will absolutely be exceptions to having the dogs for longer than a weekend depending on my farm and vet nursing hours. So please do not hesitate to message and I will do my absolute best to accomodate.

It’s been impossible to get a good photo or video of little sally who is staying because she is constantly on the move. But she thought it was a great game to steal tinys favourite toy and make tiny chase her around the house. I could seriously watch them all day ❤️ #terriers of Instagram

I could watch these two all day ❤️ Mac stayed for 9 days while his parents were away dropping much needed supplies at an animal rescue. In that time Mac and Tiny became good little mates 🐶
