UPDATE: ALL THESE DOGS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED 😀😀

Here are some more Pound Pooches looking for a good home:

1. HAS FOUND A HOME!
is a 1 year old desexed male Lab X Border Collie. He is very friendly and can sit well. He is also good with other dogs and okay on the lead.

2. and 3. are both Border Collie X Heading dogs and are 7 months old, okay on the lead, and could make good working dogs. One female and one male.

4. HAS FOUND A HOME!
is a 4 month old female Border Collie X Heading. She can sit and is okay on lead. Could be a good agility dog!

5. Friendly female Staffy X that is about 12 months. She is good with other dogs and good on the lead.

The Pointer X pup is also still available (6 months old, very friendly, and will need to be taught the basics.)

Registration time has come again and new tags are available from the Far North District Council. Below are the current fees.
Don’t forget, if you have neutered your dog during the last year take a Neutering certificate to the FNDC office for free registration!
If you have any questions please contact the FNDC on 0800 920 029.

Dog registration fees for 2016/17 by dog class and neutering status

During July 2016:

Normal Pet: Neutered - $50.00, Entire - $60.00.
Menacing/Dangerous: Neutered - $80.00, Entire - $90.00.
Working/Pig Dog: Neutered - $38.00, Entire - $48.00.
Disability Assist Dog (Certified by an approved organisation): $0.00

MONTH OF JULY ONLY:
Multiple Dog Discount (Register five dogs, get the sixth dog free): $0.00
Discount for Gold Card or Community Card holders: 10% discount

Fees from August 2016-June 2017:

Normal Pet: Neutered - $75.00, Entire - $85.00.
Menacing/Dangerous: Neutered - $118.00, Entire - $128.00.
Working/Pig Dog: Neutered - $58.00, Entire - $68.00.
Disability Assist Dog (Certified by an approved organisation): $0.00.

*Fees if Animal Management has to recover the registration fees:

Normal Pet: Neutered - $89.00, Entire - $99.00.
Menacing/Dangerous: Neutered - $132.00, Entire - $142.00.
Working/Pig Dog: Neutered - $72.00, Entire - $82.00.
Disability Assist Dog (Certified by an approved organisation): $0.00.

Java (pronounced Shiva) is a female Mastiff X. She is 2.5 years old and speyed. She was hit by a car as a pup and had surgery on both back legs and is now in need of a loving home!
