A busy end of the year for the team with a couple of nice placings to round 2023 off. A great 🥉 on the 27th @ New Plymouth by Ruby Seeker and a gutsy 🥈 for Opawa Jack today @ Hastings after 6 weeks between runs.
It has been a good season so far and I want to take the time to thank everyone who has played their part and I am already looking forward to what CBR can achieve in 2024! 🥂

Great win by Bella Corno and Lily Sutherland today, I’ve always held this filly in very high regard so it was great to see her notch up her first win so impressively. Congrats to Ben Kwok who not only owns her but bred her as well, another special Bella for the team!

First win for the new season ticked off with Hamish today at Waverley! Aided by a gun ride by one of our hard working track work riders Adam Scott this one was well deserved by the rider, the horse and his patient owners!! Well done to everyone 🥇🏇
He might’ve been supposed to run on Friday but Sergio didn’t mind the extra few days wait with his impressive victory today!!
The old war horse claims his 12th win with a gun ride by apprentice Kelsey Hannan taking him to the front and just kept kicking!
Sergio was our solo runner today at Hastings and made his first win look pretty impressive!! Well done to connections!
Good day out at the trials for the team today even if the course pukeko bird tries to take your jockey out on the home turn 😲 but never fear no Pukeko’s we’re hurt in the making of this video….seen walking off at the end!
