Small Dog Socials - Wellington, NZ A social walking group on 1st Sunday of the month,
for small dogs and their owners in Wellington, NZ Your dog is your responsibility at all times.

We meet at 2:30pm on the first Sunday of every month at the eastern end of McEwan Park, Petone Beach, by the Hikoikoi Disc Golf Course. Please bring the dogs on a lead initially, and poo bags to remove any doggy doo. This is a group for small dogs that roughly meet the toy breed category - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toy_dog. Under 13 inches or 33 cm in height, and below 10kg is a good guide. Sma

ll-breed puppies and cross-breeds welcome. This is purely a social group with no formal club functions or responsibilities. You remain entirely responsible for your dog during each event. Reactive, anti-social small dogs are particularly welcome, maybe carry them the first time so they get to desensitise slowly.

Apologies to those who missed todays social. I am not sure why the post did not go up last month.

Daylight savings starts this month, so from October, we will be meeting at 3:30pm.
