Spent Wednesday down in Alexandra, a few hunters and a couple of older horses, all perfectly behaved. A number of beans removed and with this time of year, when the flys are bad, keep an eye on those older horses for irritation, tail flicking and kicking at the belly, all can be signs of maggots, which one lovely old boy had. He’ll be a lot more comfortable now.
