We can’t stress how much we support this. This is an excellent opportunity if you are on the fence or unable to afford to desex your pets.

Remember that many problems (not limited to, but including) dominance and socialization can be exacerbated by the hormone dump hour pet experiences during puberty. Once they are at their expected adult weight there’s no reason to hold off. Added to this is the fact desexing decreases chances of certain types of cancer!

The SPCA Mobile Desexing Clinic is coming to Northland, and registrations are still OPEN 🤩

We're starting our journey in Moerewa, from 11 – 14 September. Our new and improved Mobile Desexing Clinic offers pet owners free desexing and microchipping for their cats and dogs as well as free vaccinations, flea and worm treatments when they get their pet desexed. We would welcome a koha/donation in return ❤️

If you are struggling, we are here for you. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help you and your dog.

A large part of what we do is actually owner training, and we have been doing it for a while! We can help you make a positive difference in yours and your dog's life.

1 on 1 sessions are great if you want some targeted help for specific issues, or even support in doing things you want to do but don't have the confidence to.

We can also help if you are having a hard time with behavioural problems such as (but not limited to): separation anxiety, insecurity, reactivity on and off leash, territorial behaviours, but also obedience and dealing with stubborn and independent dogs.

The internet is a wonderful place full of information. Unfortunately, a lot of it can be conflicting. If you are a first time dog owner, or have had a dog before, but it's been a while since you raised a puppy, it might be a good idea to speak to a trainer.

We are balanced trainers with years of experience- professionally training dogs, as well as raising puppies. We can answer all your questions, set you up with good house management structure to help your puppy settle in, and (importantly!) make your life easier.

January Obedience dates! If you believe it's time to give your dog the push from good to GREAT, then this is for you!

We teach balanced training, covering basic obedience, communication and will touch upon relevant behavioural topics.

Our obedience classes are run outdoors and we like to keep them small. Great opportunity for structured training, higher distraction (which we provide) that is still controlled, and for holding yourself accountable to keep training!
