Here is Hetti’s ride from Monday - not sure what’s happened to Mondays uploads as they haven’t made it to the albums when I uploaded them! 🫣
Hetti is a real cruiser, I think the addition of carrying a stick would be good to give my legs a break. If you like more woah than go, and a smooch of a horse Hetti is for you.
A solid mare, who’s had some let down time prior to coming to us. Has taken coming back into work like a duck to water. Nice soft mouth at the contact, and quite well balanced already more so than others in the paddock.
Hetti has a rocking horse canter, it’s actually really lovely to ride. I think she will be well suited to someone who wants a best friend and loves pampering their horse. Hetti laps up all the attention always searching out for her next snuggle 🥰
Could be a really good lady rider horse, or someone experienced coming back to riding.
I’ve just realised for whatever reason Shoba’s video didn’t upload to her album from her ride on Monday!
Here’s her second ride with us, and after the best part of a month in the paddock having a rest. Such a willing mare. She may look plain and ordinary at the moment, but she’s quality to sit on and I look forward to trying to find her a competitive home to produce her. Once the sport horse bod comes, her coat looks a bit better, and the sporthorse muscle comes she will be away.
Straightforward and easy ride. Finds it harder to balance on the left rein at the moment than the right, but it’ll come with more schooling and muscle. Happily comes back down the gears, and will cruise on a long rein too.
This is what dismounting looks like when you’re on a mare that makes you feel safe as houses, and your tired/not riding fit from the holiday you’ve had 😆
Mounting at the start of the ride and dismounting at the end ✅
PinOaks Proud Moment ✨
How amazing does she look.
From her owners: She is going so well, enjoyed some body work and time off which has helped, and she is super cool. She loves all the attention as you can see here.

Test drive day for Hetti today. Video started when we hopped on and walked away from the mounting block so you can see she is easy breezy.
Again been turned out in a herd for the last 3-4 weeks, and had a nice let down at her racing connections house previous to coming to us so she is ready to roll now with sporthorse life. Still got some filling out and strengthening up to do into her big frame. She’s going to be one solid TB sporthorse mare.
Hetti was good to mount and get going. Awaiting the farrier so we just kept it walk and trot while she’s missing a couple shoes. A beautiful soft mouth and picked up a contact easily. Was very kick a long, I should’ve ridden her last as she tired me out getting her going 🤣
Sensible mare who’s going to adore having her special someone to have adventures with ❤️
Mounting and dismounting Hetti today. No troubles doing either. She has had the best part of a month on holiday here, and then a couple months with her racing connections so I chose to just let her walk off from the mounting block as this is what they are used to in the race stables and for the first drive I like to keep it as close to normal as they remember to make it a great experience.

As we wrap up the final day of 2024, it's a moment to reflect. I just did the math – 108 horses re-homed by PinOaks this year! No wonder time flew by. There were so many horses, I couldn’t even fit all their faces into one video. There are too many people to thank individually, but to everyone who made this possible – I’m beyond grateful. Doing what you love every day is a gift, very rewarding working with such intelligent athletes, but it definitely comes with its challenges. It’s been one incredible ride, and we’re ready for whatever 2025 brings! 🤍 #ottb #grateful #rehoming #retiredracehorse #pinoakspark #thoroughbredracehorse
