What a week for Border Reiver Gundogs!! Ending with making up two dogs to field champions, father and daughter, Mallowdale Game of BorderReiver - "Charlie" owned and handled by Andrew Whitehead and BorderReiver Eccles - "Meg" owned and handled by Bill Taylor at Poronui Station in the working spaniels club championship trial.
Charlie can have a well deserved rest now 🏆🏅🍾🎉😴😴

"Hi Andrew and Alice,
A quick note to let you know how wrapped we are with Freddie.
It’s been a smooth transition from your care to our house. He has been great, kennelled well and toilet trained well and merged with our other dog super good. In terms of training, although early days, he is doing everything we ask of him, sitting, fetching and releasing and almost waiting on command before eating.
Overall, great nature, biddable and wants to please. We got a goodie.
Thanks for all your breeding knowledge and your work with him as a puppy, and thanks for letting us kennel with you when we head away"

Today we said goodbye to the first puppy from the litter. Always hard to see them go but he's off to a beautiful family and will be one spoilt little boy!
