How lucky are they?!!
Pippin and Steve in their new home enjoying their playroom and getting to know Bonnie their new Mum. This just warms our hearts that these cats are out of the rain and have a warm, snug place to hang. Their fate was not looking too good. We still have two cats we would like to rescue and put into forever homes. At the moment they have been left on a property. They are smoochy, loving and so social like these two.

You guys are awesome!

UPDATE still no homes for Yin and Vincent. Their fate is not looking great.

Thanks so much to the three families who have put their hands up to take one or two of the cats that need a desperate home.
To date Bluey, Steve, Pippin, and Stormy all have forever homes. We are still needing a home for 2 more cats.
Vincent is three years old - a silver grey tabby and super friendly. He is a small cat who needs his special person.
Yin - 2 years old tuxedo cat. She has had a litter of kittens a while ago and is now desexed. She is super friendly and loves people.
The cats will be desexed by our rescue and all we ask is for a donation to our rescue.
Please share this far and wide and ask friends. These two deserve to be in a home too!
Fill in an application form on our web page and PM our page.

Can you help these cats? - We need you!
Time is running out for a group of cats who were abandoned on a family's property. This lovely couple woke up one morning to find friendly pets left on their lawn. Despite extensive efforts to find their owners, the problem has only grown over time. Tomorrow, they are moving to another city, and sadly, the cats will be left behind and then the situation will be sorted.
While our rescue is bringing in Macee, a heavily pregnant cat, we don't have the resources to take in the others. Their fate is uncertain, and we need your help to find them forever homes.
We have four young cats who desperately need a loving home:
🐱 Bluey: A beautiful white cat with dense, fluffy fur and piercing blue eyes. He loves children, basking in the sun, and seeks out pats. He is Stomry’s brother.
🐱 Steve: A white cat with a little grey strip on his head and yellow eyes. He's super loving and enjoys cuddles.
🐱 Stormy: A gorgeous girl, nearly 1 year old, who loves children and cuddles.
🐱 Yin a tuxedo female who has had a litter of kittens (now rehomed) and is already desexed. She loves chatting to you, is super friendly, cuddly loves basking in the sun and hanging with humans.
We will desex these cats, attend to their medical needs, and place them in a forever home for a donation to the rescue. You might even want to pay it forward with a desex for another rescue. We don’t mind. If you're a cat lover who needs a buddy, or if you know someone who might, please spread the word! These cats are super affectionate and would make perfect companions. We have until tomorrow.
Time is of the essence. Can you help? Share this post far and wide 🐾❤️

How to tell the difference - feral and stray cats.
Cats are fascinating creatures with diverse behaviors and lifestyles. When you encounter a cat outdoors, it can be challenging to determine whether it is a stray or feral. Understanding these differences is essential for their welfare and safety. So how do you tell the difference?

Feral Cats
Feral cats are unowned, unsocialized, and have no dependence on humans. They typically live in colonies and are skilled survivors in the wild. Here are things to notice.

Behaviour: Feral cats are elusive and tend to stay low to the ground. They are most active at night and are generally quiet, except for male cats during mating season.
Posture: A feral cat will protect its body by keeping its tail down and close to its body.
Appearance: Male feral cats often have distinct physical features such as a large head, thick neck, muscular body, and scars from fighting. Their coats may appear spiky and less groomed due to high testosterone levels and lack of grooming time. They may also have "stud tail," characterised by hair loss, greasiness, or bumps at the base of the tail due to hormones.

Ear Tipping: Some feral cats have a tipped ear, which indicates they have been neutered as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program.

Stray urban cats are different.
Stray cats are former pets that have been lost or abandoned or dumped. Unlike feral cats, they have had some level of socialisation with humans.

Behaviour: Stray cats are more likely to be seen during the day. They may purr or be vocal and show signs of friendliness towards humans.
Habitat: Stray cats tend to live near human habitation and have many of their needs indirectly supplied by people.
Appearance: Stray cats may look well-groomed initially, but over time, they might appear more unkempt. They are often seen alone or in small groups.

How to Determine if a Cat is Feral
To determine if a cat is feral, observe its behaviour and appearance. Feral cats are typically more fearful of humans and less likely to approach you. They may appear more rugged and have physical signs of fighting. Additionally, a tipped ear is a clear indication of a feral cat that has been part of a TNR program.

What to Do if You Find a Stray Cat on Your Property
If you find a stray cat on your property, follow these steps to ensure its safety and well-being:

Assess the Situation: Observe the cat from a distance to determine if it appears healthy or injured.
Provide Food and Water: Determine if it is starving and been around for a while. Leave out food and water in a safe and quiet location away from your house so it does not impact on other animals in the household.
Check for Identification: If the cat seems approachable, check for a collar with identification tags. If possible, take the cat to a vet or find someone with a scanner to scan for a micro chip. Cats are known to hop in business vehicles when visiting the home to do a job. The cat could be a long way from home.

Post on Social Media: Share photos and information about the cat on local social media groups and websites dedicated to lost pets.
Contact Local Shelters: Notify local rescue organizations about the stray cat.

Consider Fostering: If the cat appears to be friendly and you are able, consider fostering the cat until the owner is found or a permanent home is located.

Hopefully these hints will help some lost strays get back to their owner. Who is helping strays in their community or on their property? Thank you for caring.

The ups and downs of fostering kittens
Our fosterers are the back bone of our organisation and we are so in awe of the dedication they show our most vulnerable. Over the past few days, two of our dedicated foster families have experienced the heartbreaking loss of two of our tiniest and most vulnerable residents: 5-week-old kittens.

At such a young age, these kittens are incredibly delicate. Despite being happy, eating well, drinking, and using the toilet without issue, sometimes they can unexpectedly take a turn for the worse. One moment, they’re full of life, and the next, they become weak and unresponsive. There is often no clear rhyme or reason why this happens, making it all the more painful.

Our foster carers pour their hearts and souls into nurturing these little ones. They shed tears and mourn deeply when a kitten passes away. Yet, through the tears, they show remarkable courage and resilience. They continue to soldier on, caring for the remaining kittens with unwavering dedication.

For the wee kittens that have passed, please know that everyone did their utmost to give you the best chance at life. You were loved and cherished every step of the way. Your brief time with us has left a lasting impact, and we will never forget you.

To our fosters, we thank you for your incredible strength and the boundless love you provide. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are eternally grateful for the care and compassion you show each and every day.

To our community, know that when you see that cute 9-10 week old kitten up for adoption, the fosterer and the kitten have been on quite a journey to being healthy, loving and ready for a forever home.

Let us all remember the precious little lives that were lost and honour their memory by continuing to support and care for those who remain. We are in need of Super lac Milk powder, Royal Canin weaning mouse, Royal Canin kitten biscuits. If you can donate any of these items or make a monetary donation we would be so grateful.

Together, we can make a difference, one tiny paw at a time.
RRR- Rescue Revive, Rehome feline 38-9022-0530097-01, reference special food.
Below are some kittens who did make it and are now in loving homes.

Calling all compassionate cat lovers!
This week, RRR-rescue, is shining a spotlight on our beloved bonded pairs of kittens. These furry duos have been waiting a while for their purrrfect home! They range from 12 weeks to 20 weeks old and to sweeten the deal, we've slashed our adoption fee considerably!

The advantages of bonded pairs!
What makes bonded pairs so special? First and foremost, bonded pairs come with built-in playmates! They are great for the working couple/family who are away for 8 hours a day. No more guilt about leaving them alone for extended periods. Plus, with their social needs met, there's less chance of separation anxiety creeping in.

The kittens will play games of chase, tag, and pounce, all day long. With a buddy by their side, these kittens are guaranteed to stay entertained and out of mischief. Also say goodbye to shredded curtains and scratched furniture!

Check out Slate and Onyx,(grey and black) Annie and Mae (2 black females), Morgan and Dale (tabby female and male). Gilly and Glade 2 year old cats, Stellar and Portia (tabby and black girls)
