Fabulous Debbie Barke Clinic today! The sun did shine after some heavy down pours the day before.

Today Debbie taught a newly started 3 year old, a level 3/4 Dressage horse, a teenage boy who events his lovely pony & a 6 year old Eventer/Show jumper, this just shows you how talented Debbie is. Watching the improvement in all these horses over the past weeks is very cool!

Debbie is also offering a extra 15mins at the end of your lesson for goal setting at $20.00 - such a beneficial time to have with your trainer to obtain some clear pathways to where you want to go with your riding! 💪

Debbie Barke Tauranga Lessons.

Rates & Charges 2023 for Tauranga.

I am very happy to coach all riders and horses at any level and any discipline - come with a sense of humour and a desire to learn and I will give you 110%. Having trained horses and riders from Pony Club to Grand Prix dressage and 5* eventing I feel I have a broad base to help you on your journey. We also breed and start and produce our horses here at RM Equestrian so I have experience with all stages of training horses.

My Passion is to help riders understand and develop an ethical clear pathway of working with, training and developing their horses. I strive to equip riders with a “toolbox” to help them with their everyday training to achieve their goals. We establish good foundations so the horses have a fair clear understanding of what is being asked and then we develop this at the riders and horses skill ability and long term goals. Please understand that I will encourage riders to be responsible for their own journey and goals - there is no goal too big or too small and there is always more than one way to achieve the goals. I encourage discussion to help understanding and am always very happy to work with riders and other coaches to achieve goals.

3/4 hour private lessons
Cost per lesson including Travel GST and GF $135/lesson.

I would like to also offer a goal setting and review option
This involves an extra 15 minutes discussion time to assist riders with their own goals and looking at where they should focus their work and training specifically. We do of course cover this in the weekly lessons to some degree but it is really valuable to have a more structured approach especially when we work alone with our training so often in NZ. I would imagine that this will be repeated every 2-3 months or as required by riders. I will work on providing more information on this for those that are keen.
The extra 15 mins will be at the beginning or end of the scheduled lesson for those keen this will be $20.

I have put forward dates every 2 weeks as I feel this would be the ideal gap between sessions. I have a WHIS radio system so light rain is no problem for me. However I do not find that torrential rain is ideal learning for either horse or rider so we will make a call on those weeks.

Starting April Wednesday 5th April 23. Every two weeks from then on until end of August at this stage.

Facility Use:

The Clinics are held at my property (Clare Austin) 7E Walter Henry Drive, Tauranga. As you come up the driveway through double black steel gates (will be open) drive up and veer to the right just before the house heading towards the black shed. There is a roundabout where you can park around staying on the metal as much as possible please. There is a stable or tye up area plus washdown bay you can use while there. Please pick up any manure as you can, muck heap situated at the other side of haylage bales. NO dogs allowed on site.

Lessons are to be paid in advance 4 days prior to your lesson time to Debbies bank account (12 3155 0149356 00)

Once you have been given your confirmed lesson time, you are responsible for your lesson spot. If you can't make the lesson for whatever reason you still need to pay for your spot.
