Hi there! My name is Merrit
I’m a sweet cuddle pup trying to find a super special family to call my own.
My foster family say I’m a playful, sweet friendly puppy and that I love to go to the beach, play in the sea, with other doggies and hang out with the kiddies in the house.
I have been introduced and get along nicely with kids and dogs. I have not been introduced to cats or stock but think I would be curious to make friends.
My ideal family would be a family that likes to get out and about and spend time with me relaxing at home.
I have mastered toilet training, crate training, basic commands, on lead walking, and my fosters think I’m a pretty smart canine 🐶

Gilly and Glade are wanting a forever home
Both these girls came off Matakana Island 3 years ago as tiny vulnerable kittens. Although adopted out, they now find themselves back in RRR due to no fault of their own.
Gilly is a sweet girl who may take a bit of time to warm up but becomes incredibly friendly and cuddly once she feels at home. She loves curling up at the foot of the bed and enjoys morning cuddles. Gilly is independent and prefers not to be picked up but loves pats and is a big fan of wet food who will happily let you know when it’s time for breakfast and dinner. Cozy evenings with you are her favourite, and she’ll happily watch TV by your side.
Glade, the charming munchkin, is a gentle spirit with a heart of gold. Though the more timid of the two, her affectionate personality shines through as she warms up. Glade enjoys rolling in the grass and has the softest most cute meow. She loves ear scratches and will purr contentedly, often leaving a little dribble when she’s truly happy. Quiet and gentle, she seeks cozy spots to relax and won’t stray far from her safe space.
Together, Gilly and Glade are a bonded pair. Having overcome a difficult past, they’re seeking a loving home where their true personalities can flourish. They would thrive best in a calm environment. They’re perfect for families of adults or those with mature children who understand pet care.
