Storage tins for our markets
A few of you will remember me asking for tins a few weeks ago on some community pages. Here is the result of one of those recycled tins. Rainy day here today so I am inside creating them to sell at our markets ❤️
Rainbow Lorikeet pair hanging out exploiting the house tonight. We only let birds of the same breed out together 🌈
Enjoying or perssimon from @vedasveggies @waverleycraftmarket
A quick clip this morning showing the pretty songs before we feed them and put them back out on the patio. We took them inside last night as it was raining and we don’t want anyone to get sick or cold.
We do have a couple of male canary ready for adoption please read the post and PM us. They are not free.
Obviously my zip needs inspecting - we will have a DNA male Quaker for adoption soon please apply by pm
This won’t be first in first serve.
Please read adoption process pinned at top of page. Bird is not free.

All set up at the Hawera market come say hi 👋
We often get asked what we feed and some people seem a bit confused about soak and sprout. Here is how we do it. You can store it in your fridge for a few days just rinse it when you take it out to use. It will start to sprout and that’s ok. All our birds love it and end up in the sieve when I go to their cages before it even gets to the feed container’s.
All set up at Waverley Craft and Farmers Market with George (who tipped his water out so it is getting refilled already 😝)
Thanks so much for the guavas Gabrielle Belz they love them ❤️ #ringneck #parrots #rescue #guava
Frankie getting the first choice of seed this morning 💛
They get a mix of fruit, veggies, dandelions, soak and sprout and seed ❤️
Captian is always interested when new birds arrive. 2 Quaker boys 💚 💚
We cut everyones split rings off today as they are not safe in the aviaries with the wire we would hate to lose a leg. Thanks Debbie Davies for the lend of the pliers ❤️ Billy here was happy to have his ring off
Maroon Belly Conures

Billy and Wilma our Maroon Belly Conure pair - not for Adoption
The new year will see some pretty big changes so stay tuned….
But for now Merry Christmas, thanks for all your support this year. Be safe out there on the roads and take photos as you will never get this exact time again.
Thinking especially of those for whom Christmas is without a loved one and anyone spending Christmas alone.
Shiny ✨ Kawakawa Soap ✨
I usually leave my Kawakawa soap as natural as possible but I thought I would try something a bit different ✨
