Walking with our furry friends is incredible therapy and exercise. Never regretted.

Dig into the autumn harvest and dose up on antioxidants (berries) and beta carotene ( orange foods) before our long winter.

I love mixing it up a few times a week to keep my dogs super healthy
We have been falsely led to believe that every meal must be “ scientifically “ formulated. That is total BS you should relearn how to feed like our ancestors did with variety and in season.

Happy autumn everyone. I know many of you already do this but just a reminder to maybe give your horse a break off hard feed and supplements for 2-4 weeks over autumn. Especially if you have lots of grass and your horse is in great condition. If your horse has recently been sick or injured or goes into winter light conditioned then I would carry on with the hard feed x

Hi im Philippa Hanley and I started Hanley’s Animal Nutrition in 2004. Yes a bit of an unimaginative name using my last name, but my

Father Paul Hanley who has passed away would be so proud. He loved the Hanley name so that’s us. I think it’s cool.

Im your typical kiwi animal obsessed girl, who stops for birds on the road and chases livestock back into their paddocks when they are out haha.

I know so many similar people will be reading this smiling …. Its just what we do, us crazy animal people.

I have very deep relationships with animals, I love their authenticity, trust and zest for the days activities. I learn so much everyday from my animals and im

Humbled to be a better person by their example.

I shouldn’t have favourites but I do especially love dogs, horses, cows, pigs, goats, birds, elephants and monkeys.

I don’t have human children im not mature enough or responsible enough …..

My purpose everyday is to ‘Enhance All Health “ through developing and selling natural products which have the most potent nutritional content of all foods.

I love this concept because it makes my life easy. Whenever I make a business decision I ask “ does this enhance all health ?” if the answer is no or I don’t know

I don’t do it… easy , simple and good for all of us.

I work with my two best friends, my husband Marchal Head, and Wayne Scannell (tich) ,I am blessed to have them in my life and helping me run this amazing nutrition business.

We live on 30 acres in Geraldine with dozens of horses, 4 dogs, a cat , 2 goats and 3 cows. I trial all my inventions on my farm for a minimum of 18 months doing blood tests and

In August 2020 I will be a qualified Clinical Nutritionist and all my years of study will be dedicated to helping heal animals and the odd person.
