Absolutely heartbreaking day for me today saying goodbye to both Luci and Taisie 😥 They were the last two of the Long Haired Burmilla's who I kept and that I bred all those years ago. Luci was the first of a brand new line of Long Haired Burmilla's that I created under the Zaria prefix and Taisie was Luci's daughter and TV star in a Fancy Feast ad (shown overseas but not here in NZ). Luci had managed to reach a very impressive age (18) but had gone partially blind and wasn't too well having picked up a nasty cat cold. Sadly Taisie (13) suffered a neurological event (possibly a stroke) on Friday that she wouldn't have recovered from, seeing her walking into things and not having a clue what was going on was so sad. As upsetting as today has been, it brings me a bit of peace knowing they went together and are buried curled up next to each other. They will leave a massive hole in our little family but we have so many wonderful memories to think back on 🥰
RIP Zaria Luci and Zaria Taisie, you'll both be missed so much 💜🩷
