Today, I've visited Zeus and his owner for a second time!
Zeus and his owner are doing so well, I had to share their progress.
This video shows some techniques I use for loose lead walking.
1-2-3 = This is a technique where when you say the word 'three' your dog learns to come and be at your feet.
Target/Touch = This technique uses a target stick to help teach your dog to walk beside you.
Both these techniques are shown in this video sequence.
I'm really proud of how well this is going! My favorite part is seeing the successes clients make after putting so much time and effort into training 😍

SCENT CLASS!
Here is a little snippet of the dogs and owners who finished their last scent class session on Wednesday. It was such a pleasure to introduce them to this amazing dog sport - which is suitable for all sorts of breeds and ages. I am so proud of how they all went. It was fun and rewarding to watch them learn over the last few weeks. And watch everyone cheer each other on, a fabulous group of people and dogs to work with! I am going to miss not meeting with them next week!
Loose Lead Walking!
It can be hard! But it is worth the effort for you both!
Look at the results you can get! This is Sass. Look at her go! What I love about this is that you can see her checking in with me - which I am verbally reinforcing.
I have been visiting Sass once a week to do some 1-on-1 training with her. This helps reinforce the behavior her owner is practicing with her.

Meet Indy🐾
She is very intelligent, and knows loads of tricks! But she loses focus on her owner when they are away from home. To help Indy focus on her owner and stationary items in her environment rather than other people and dogs. I have asked her owner to start teaching her doggie parkour!
What is doggie parkour? It's when you introduce your dog to jumping, climbing, balancing over, crawling under, and going around different obstacles in their everyday world. And it helps by strengthening their bond with you ❤
In the video you'll also notice she is getting the opportunity to SNIFF! Which is also fabulous mental stimulation for her.
Indy was only introduced to doggie parkour 2 weeks ago! She already looks like she is loving it 😍🤗
