Look who is coming to us tomorrow!

'Picton -where is that...? ' - asks handsome Cash (Akashi Boy). He is off to our Picton Hounds4Life adoption kennels tomorrow. Amazing dog, very accomplished racer , who is sociable with other dogs and also trainable to live with cats - Cash is loving, cuddly, well behaved and polite. A tall, handsome boy, he will make a lovely addition to one happy family

Meet Reado ( Mitcham Reado ),

Reado is a playful 5 year old hound who likes his food and cuddles.

He’s definitely been a favourite here at hounds4life but now he’s ready and on look out for his new family where he can rest his paws.

Reado Is a very social hound who does well around other dogs and he’s also cat trainable which is a plus. He has been in a home situation before so would adapt fast to home life, preferably a quieter home.

Our ex-foster girl Bryn (Wifi Sophie) now lives in Golden Bay and has a new job: she is her Mum's and Dad's new secretary! Check out the video -apparently, she waits for the pages to come out and then retrieves them - she learned that all by herself. She is currently learning how to do the filing 🤣

Our cute foster girl Sophie (Wifi Sophie) is ready for adoption! She’s learned her pet-skills in a foster home, and cant wait to meet her new family! Sophie is only 2yrs old, very inquisitive dog who loves to explore and would be very trainable as she loves treats and affection. Very dog social, Sophie would make a lovely mate for existing dog, but she would not being an only dog either. No cats please as she is convinced they are soft toys, which Sophie LOVES playing with! We are on lookout for dog crates ! Due to the large number of recent adoptions, we are literally out of crates which we lend to our new owners and foster carers.
So if you have a crate you don't need any more (whether on loan from us, or your own) , we would love to have it (we would be very grateful if you donated it to Hounds4Life - however, if you are unable to, we are more than happy to buy it off you too, or exchange for a martingale collar of your choice, or anything else you like from our shop etc). We can pick up from anywhere in Marlborough, Nelson and nearby areas.
Crates have to be at least 106cm long . Please pm us or email [email protected] ! Thanks you so much!

Tane (Alamein Tane) is now ready for adoption! He’s learned his pet-skills in a foster home, which he shares with a female greyhound. He would make a lovely mate for existing dog , and he is ready and excited to meet his new owners😃
Currently located in Nelson, Tane is a medium sized boy, 5yrs old, quiet and reliable, smoochy and playful and will make a precious pet
