Happy Sunday! What mischief have your doggos been up to this weekend?

Here’s a progression of floki trying his first tomato after stealing it off grandmas bench.

No tomatoes were harmed, though one was wasted. Safe to say it’s still laying in the garden 😅

Floki workin hard to get his lunch out of his bulbie

Our treat dispensing bulbs can be stuffed with your doggos fav snacks like peanut butter and dog biscuits! This clearly gets Floki’s whole body engaged as he insists on licking them all out rather than tossing the toy around to dispense the biscuits 😂

Do your puppies do things the hard way too? 🤷‍♀️

Put your hand up if you find it hard to get around to training your dog each day 🙋

It can be really overwhelming and hard to motivate yourself to do regular training sessions, especially if you have a high energy or reactive dog/puppy.

Because floki was a stray, he’s very reactive and needs lots of training, especially being a border collie. We find adding in lots of mini training moments throughout the day is really helpful at meeting some of his needs without it feeling so overwhelming for us.

In this mini session I used one of our homemade treats with the command “leave it,” work on impulse control.

If you’re finding dog life abit stressful atm, we get it! Keep doing your best, all those little moments add up!

After an exciting day and lots of exercise, we love using an enrichment toy like Rob the Microbe 🦠 or our treat dispensing bulb to help transition into a calm evening at home 😌

Enrichment toys that can be filled with treats, your pups normal dinner, or frozen to last even longer, are a fav around here!

Benebones are a great alternative for dogs who love chewing sticks or have excess energy! Providing approved items for chewing (that aren’t your socks or tv remote) is a great outlet for your pups energy and allows them to regulate themselves safely!
