Perro is a wee sweetie who has gained confidence in foster care. He loves playing with other dogs and seeks affection with people, loves his cuddles. Medium energy levels, not a big barker.

Perro is good with cats, dogs and children. He is very affectionate and very keen to learn - so further training or fun classes might be a wonderful option for him. House trained and sleeps inside.

Perro is eagerly awaiting a special family home!

This gorgeous 1-year-old Terrier x Maltese is fully vaccinated, crate-trained and very sweet!!! She is not yet desexed. Sadly, her owner's health has taken a turn for the worse, and he can no longer care for her. Located Clandeboye, near Temuka. From the foster carers:

They're smart little cookies, so extra training, good exercise and mental stimulation will be a must. Are all used to younger children in previous home.

All are extremely quick to learn - they were jumpy and nippy upon arrival, so I taught them to sit and they all picked it up in about 10 mins then would come and sit in front of me.
Respectful of the cat and good with the other dogs.

Rex - West Eyreton
Quick to learn manners around older dogs. Does love a cuddle. Happy to follow you around.

Spot - b/w - West Eyreton
A confident pup, an explorer and a snuggle bug.
He is a good escape artist - solid/secure fencing is a must (can wiggle through gaps).

Merlin - Oxford (Adopted)

Seeking special homes that can dedicate lots of time and care. They are young and need human company for half of the day with plenty of activities and socialisation to thrive.

Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.

Adoption $300 - Includes neuter, micro-chip (on NDB), vaccination, flea/worm. We are a registered charity CC60695 and ongoing fundraising.

South Island adoptions only.
We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters.
Stock fenced properties require a fully secure/safe containment area for no one is at home.
Residential properties require 6ft fencing/gates.
Owner occupied homes.

Sid is a beautiful, friendly, energetic young dog. Bull breed/Collie mix, a bit taller than medium size. 14 months old. Located Timaru.

He was adopted from Pound Paws when he was about 6 months old. Neutered, chipped, registered, vaccinated.

We are looking for a suitable foster carer or forever home.

Sid is very social, loves kids, loves people and playing with other dogs, great with the cat.
Loves going to the beach. Enjoys his home comforts, sleeping in bed with you, riding in the car, chewing his marrow bones and having company.
He has good recall with food rewards.

Sid would suit an active family home that can give him plenty of daily exercise and mental enrichment. Sid needs some work with being left home alone. We had a behaviourist visit, she thought Sid had lots of potential to overcome this, and is overall very trainable and responsive. Sid is well loved, but his current owners have made the difficult decision to rehome him.
