🩷Mama Mia🩷

You all know her backstory, the life she was subjected to at only 4yrs old. But we got her and changed her path. Thanks to our fosters/sponsors/volunteers, it truly was a team effort for this beautiful mama.

But now we need your help in changing her story again. At the age of 4, she still has so much life to experience and love to give, instead of saying this mama, we want to start saying this beautiful girl and let her experience life without the parental responsibilities 🩷

About Mia:
- Crate and house trained
- Knows sit, waits patiently for food, shake and down
- Mia is not good with cats
- Mia is amazing with children
- Mia is good with other dogs with proper introductions
- Mia is loyal and protective, she just wants to have a best friend
- Mia would do well by herself or with other dogs, but if there’s a puppy in the house Mia would need to be only other dog as she can be overprotective of the puppy.

Meet our stunning boy Rusty,

Aged approx 2yrs old, Rusty is a hunterway x neutered male.
Rusty came to our rescue when he was 9 months old straight from the pound. His beautiful foster family have put so much time and attention into this beautiful boy but we are desperately looking for his forever home so he can settle in to his own home.

Rusty is cautious around new people and is claustrophobic so crates are a no go.
Rusty is amazing with other dogs (is ideal home would be with another dog but not a requirement)
Rusty is a smart young man who picks up tricks and commands quickly. He is house trained, completely vaccinated, microchipped and will be made sure he’s up to date on worm and flea treatment upon adoption.

If you’re looking for a soul dog who admires you simply for waking up Rusty is the dog for you. His kind, soft nature truly magnifies how forgiving dogs are 💙

Meet Jessie 🤠❤️

Jessie is a playful, fun-loving snuggle bug. She loves to bring her toy up to you and nudges you wanting you to play with her. She loves going out for walks and socialise with other dogs. She is super excited to greet you in the morning when you wake up or seeing you come home with a nonstop wagging tail and snuggles. She still thinks she’s small enough to sit in your lap or snuggles next to you when sitting on the couch. She “talks” while playing with her toys or responding to you
Jessie is crate and toilet trained, knows sit/down/wait.
Good with kids and other dogs, but hasn’t been around cats.

Thanks to the most incredible amount of generosity for our boy Jack Sparrow we have started his medical care with Vet trust Henderson. He’s had all his teeth cleaned and only one removed, very long nails attended to, yucky ears cleaned, X-rays taken of his hips and knees. I’ve never been able to wash Jack so Laura gave him a sponge bath while he was sedated. X-rays have shown no bone/joint damage so we are looking at tissue damage and managing his arthritis. Next is off to the eye specialist to see what is happening with his remaining eye. We couldn’t have done this without your kindness and compassion and for that we are truly truly grateful. I would say lots of kisses from Jack but he’s just not that kind of boy 💚 much love from Tania, Sarah and Patricia ###

HUMPHREY NEEDS US

“ Humphrey”

Everybody remembers the sweet little boy who was the littlest of the litter. Humphrey went all the way down to Taranaki with his brother Max to We Love Dogs Charitable Trust as we were full. Max has been adopted but Humphrey is still waiting. Look at this stunning lad now, how has he not been adopted??

Meet n greets can be arranged, just look at that face.

Humphrey’s Foster is heavily pregnant and they are desperately looking for a new foster, can anyone down that way help? Please share.

In exchange for unconditional love, kisses and cuddles - Lola is looking for her forever home ❤️

Lola is sassy, loving and her humans are her world. She LOVES going for walkies, playing fetch, and laying in the sun. She’s as soft as a bunnies tail, and is great around other dogs. People literally stop us on the street to comment on how beautiful she is!

Her forever home would need to have another friendly dog as a companion. Whilst Lola is growing her confidence everyday, she is timid and needs an extra loving and patient home in order for her to settle and blossom 🌸

She’s very obedient and knows basic commands. Lola is toilet trained, medium in size and believed to be a gorgeous mixed breed. D.O.B September 2023.

It takes time for her to warm up to people but once that happens, you’ve got a soulmate for life ❤️ her unconditional love is nothing short of healing.

Lola is up to date with vaccinations, desexed, registered with the council and NZCAR.

Mama Mia and her pups update:

Who remembers our beautiful mama who chained outside heavily pregnant? She came into the rescue and placed in one of our fosters home and a week later had 9 beautiful babies. Well those babies are now nearly 8 months old 😱🥰

Dallas is a foster fail to lovely Catherine, who has been fostering Mia from the start
Grayson is a foster fail to Catherine’s daughter Sarah
Gabby got adopted by Jason and his lovely family
Evie will be ready for adoption soon
Jayzee got adopted by Leonie and John
Hadley got adopted by Sasha
Ivory is a foster fail to Rachel
Bree got adopted by Sean and his family
Felix is a foster fail to Donny and her family

And our beautiful Mia, she is still currently fostered with Catherine but has started having play dates and sleepovers with a potential adopter 🩷
