Bearded dragons are such amazing pets to have. Those who know this, know. This is for those parents who are looking to get a dragon for their kids. The love and joy kids have for dragons is heart warming. That said. dragons do need special equipment and supplements to keep them healthy. One thing I stress is: Dragons are not cheap to take care of but once in a routine is established they are easy to care for.

Parents, please remember it is also your responsibility to ensure your kids are doing what is required for the pets. This means getting what is right, researching along side your kids, and helping them to get what's required. When dragons do not receive the right UV, calcium, vitamins, basking temps, and nutrients, it will most likely cause them harm or death. We try our best to educate anyone who asks us questions, regardless if they bought from us or not. It is my passion that drives me to help anyone who wants to learn. I would hate to turn someone away and have harm caused to the beardie because I cared more about myself than the reptile.

Please know that certain issues like MBD (metabolic bone disorder) are permanent and life threatening if allowed to progress to far. Most things can be prevented by having the right equipment, supplements and diet. We see to often neglected dragons, and if we can help one with this message than I am happy. Please feel free to message me or ask questions on here and I will always do my best to help.

Lastly, triple, quadruple check information you hear or see. It never hurts to verify information given. Myths like dragons soaking water from their privates has survived for over 20 years, because its repeated and believed to be fact.

Picture of Bandit, my first beardie and to show where I was and how much I have learned. I used to soak him in that vs the sink, lol I was silly but I didnt know better. I learned so much and all I want is healthy and happy dragons so parents and kids can make wonderful memories.
