Trout has been peeing more often than usual - and tonight he is hopping in and out of his litter tray like it's the only thing he wants to do!! His mum, Lucy, is worried - Trout has had a tough week as the neighbours cat has been picking on him. Is this an emergency or can Trout wait for a vet visit in the morning?
Luckily Lucy's vet offers video calls - Trout was assessed by a vet within minutes; Trout was not in need of emergency care, however an appointment was arranged for Trout in the morning with his usual vet. Lucy was given instructions on how to keep Trout comfortable, and warning signs to watch out for overnight. She was even able to collect a urine sample to make diagnosis of Trouts condition even quicker! Trout was diagnosed with a bladder problem caused by stress, so he is now on a special diet to help with anxiety and bladder problems! His toilet habits need closely monitoring for a few days, but Lucy has peace of mind knowing she could book another video call if she had any further concerns.
