On 3 July - Team Psycho welcomed our first purebred litter.
Prefix and Phase puppies 2024
Total of 6 with being 2x male B&W , 1x Female B&W , 1x Merle Female and 2x Choc & W.
All happy healthy and had a smooth sailing!
Thank you to the kennels who sold me Phase and Prefix plus trusting me with your precious genetics 🧬

Recently we had Team Psycho Hoodies printed at Work Outfitters Ltd. Timaru and the Girls in there have done an absolutely smashing job!
Most of the hoodies default to “Crew” on the back to include anyone who supports us!
So far we’ve had great responses of how great they look - so much so we are going to have do a reprint!

Who remembers CJs puppies from January 2023 , look what 3 of the 7 have been up too , Anise (purple collar ) has gone strength to strength running in a 3 dog team , 4 dog team and into a 6 dog team helping lead the way.
Summit (yellow collar) has been running in 2 dog classes and recently had a go at single dog and what a power wee guy he is.
Digit (pink collar ) small and mighty just boxes on in a swing position or wheel navigating the trail with her fellow team mates.
We are so happy with how everyone from that accident litter has turned out and can’t wait to watch them grow into the future!

Team psycho has had an enjoyable summer break and we are back into it for 2024 sled dog training and racing , We’ve also imported two new girls from Australia due in Nz later next week. Few dogs have been in and out to new homes via our rehoming program. Giving every dog a fair chance to be placed into a perfect situation.
Hopefully as time ticks by we will have our very own litter this year. Wait and see what happens.

Little Digit is getting ready for her first race season next year! She was born to a rescue Mum and was the smallest in her litter and born with 3/4 of her tail! She is a happy go lucky lass who is spunky with a stubborn streak. Being a baby she still gets distracted easily but once she gets working she will love it! :)

Team Psychos final dry land race for 2023.
Results from the 6 dog class made up by Prefix an imported female from Sarasota kennels in Australia, Phase & Chorus from Ohutu kennels , Chorus is infact deaf so it’s super wicked she’s got a job, Yagi a mixed bred pig dog , Hoe a line of heading dog from up Fairlie and Stretch who is a product of a Ticket X Ego litter ❤️
Here it goes …Scarper 1st both days, Solstice 1st both days , Origin 1st both days, Hanmer 4th both days and finally this race the Double Banger 2nd both days.
Cheque my imported dog from SnoChasa kennels is Australia has gone from strength to out of this world amazing winning 2 Bike Jor races and 2nd in the other two!
Bonus is my breeding of Sophie X Fake and Honey another sibling of Phase and Chorus litter , Honey arrived just before the start of the season so her fitness level was a little behind my others so this season for her was learning our ways and training , Next year we will ramp it up a level!
Some super wicked racing this season had by my dog their weight , conditioning fitness , their body condition , their night time jackets for less than ten degrees and a wicked well rounded diet has set us up for success this season.
Pre season KMs is 100km achieved ✅
Mid season KMs is 200km achieved ✅
Now can I achieve my goals going into the snow races for 2023 , absolutely anything is possible!
This season I’ve stuck to my plans and ran the same dogs in set classes, the world is my oyster and I’ll continue to keep doing well and doing better as I go along but making my dogs my number 1s , regardless of results these dogs are my number ones!
Stay true to yourselves out there people , YOU don’t have to prove anything to anyone!
Don’t be the problem be the solution!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to have no home and no one to love you …. Well these two are currently experiencing that. They currently have somewhere to stay And a feed and warm but it’s not their home.

So I’m asking to help find them their own home so someone can give them love they deserve, either together or separate.

Dotti and Cleo Catahoula cross is seven months old microchipped registered flea and wormed.
Ditto is desexed , Cleo currently entire. 
Both are housetrained crated and spend day time hours in a motel outside together .
They are clean and tidy , come when called , hop into the kennel when asked .

They both have beautiful natures.
Please contact me if you can give them what they deserve!

Currently : Vaccinated , flea and worm treated
A little about her - tiny build super athletic and agile , speedy on her feet , beautiful nature , amazing Recall , Clean and tidy , preferable to inside but is out during the day.
She’s super sweet and willing to be trained.
I’m pretty positive she would suit a home that she’s allowed inside.

Hi friends...another call for help. My dear friend Galina is looking to find special forever homes for these three beautiful Labrador hunterway cross dogs. They belonged to her dad who recently passed away. Galina lives in the States .... we are desperate to find these guys a safe and loving home before she has to go back....they are 12 years old and amazing dogs. They can go separately. 15months old ,Registered with a council, microchipped and Flea’d - Vaccination status unknown!
Yesterday I collected him from Aaron who gave him a ride up to Temuka - last night he slept along side my other dogs - and today he’s out with every single other dog I own plus extras that’s 18 different personalities to work with.
He’s young , spritely and full of life.
Ideally a home with a dog similar age , or a solo dog is what I’ve been recommended- ideally either rural lifestyle or someone who’s prepared to exercise him. But this is not a must .
The sooner I can shift him on the better for him.
Hit me up , terrible photos it’s the best I could do.

Location is Temuka south Canterbury South Island

Transport can be arranged if a North Island home is found.

On a hunt for a home for this delight He’s Unclaimed retriever x spaniel cross male. Somewhere between 15 to 18 months. Very basic training. He has a lovely nature. Would be best suited to a farm type lifestyle and has endless energy, and needs a home with a with a human that can take him about daily and install good basic training. He is microchipped and registered. Should arrive later in the week to Team Psycho HQ to find a new home via Fureverhomes.

13.4.23 - Impulse has gone missing this morning from West Melton, Canterbury. She is a microchipped, working Cocker Spaniel wearing pink collar. Last Location seen Weedons Ross Road, 11am on 13th April.

First training for 2023! 8 dogs

Lead dogs -Yagi 7yr old and Stretch 5yr old
Swing -Hoe 7 yr old and Chorus 2.5yr old
Wheel - Phase 2.5 yr old and Prefix 16 months

Free runners Cheque almost 2 and Bonus 6yr old.

Pretty happy with how they went over just shy of 5km!

All done from the end of the drive at home!

It’s almost been a week since we said goodbye to the last wee puppy and mother CJ now called Milly!
All puppies seem to be loving their new lives which is very exciting to see!
Keep up with the little updates I enjoy reading what they are up too!

Team Psycho has been a little busy of present - with the recent arrival Cj a rehome who’s puppies arrived 12 days later .
There are 3 girls and 4 boys of a Heading Hunterway Smithfield mix born the 23/1/2023 and will be looking for new homes 21/3/2023 , all puppies are now 9 days old and all over 1kg.
To register your interest please get in contact.
There will be a small fee for these guys going to their band new homes.
I have photos of sire but he can’t be viewed as she was pregnant on arrival.
