Had the best day with the horsey crew having a lesson with Debbie Barke, very valuable information to move forward with and to help us maintain balance to keep the Ferrari at bay. Fingers crossed we can get to a few comps in the near future.

Love my pony it’s such a journey but enjoying each ride more and more thank you to Nicky for organising the lessons 🙌

Arlo SE is one of the first progeny of Alfie (Gallifray Saladin) and has proven to have the same nature as his sire. He is a confident (without being pushy) young boy who will make an amazing kids pony.

Everything you do with him he takes all in his stride and has a very calm willing nature. You point him at anything and he will do it. He has had regular trims, worming etc as well as being led, tied up and bathed. Will be able to float and have a rug on.

Arlo SE is a very good boy and in the right hands will be a fun project for someone to bring on, if I had the time I would keep him to produce myself. He is able to be registered with the NZGCA and can be gelded here he is not c**ty at all so much so I forget sometimes he is entire. He of course is a young horse who still has a lot of learning to do so experienced home although he would be a great first young horse as well. Really need to reduce my numbers asap due to a change in circumstances so am open to reasonable offers. Home is most important. Based in Hamilton, Waikato.

Still can’t believe that Baldeep has passed. (Floris previous owner)

It’s taken a while to sink in and it still doesn’t feel real that he is no longer here. I am forever grateful to Baldeep for the opportunities that he has given me, including owning my precious Floris. Your dedication, passion and drive for life was contagious. You always strived for the best and was so giving in everything you did. You inspired so many and always saw the good in everything you did.

Taken far to soon, but will never be forgotten, you have left a hole in our equestrian world RIP Baldeep xx

The sunshine really does brighten your day and make riding so much more enjoyable!

Nothing better than ending your week riding with your bestie (horse and Human). Ever since Aurora had some schooling with Nicky Hallen Equestrian I really feel we have taken a turn in our training, building strength and the bonus of not bolting off in the canter! Starting to develop more rhythm and strength. It’s not an easy road that’s for sure but brings so many learnings that are invaluable.

Alfie is approximately 13.2hh. Both parents are imports from overseas, the Dam from UK and the Sire from USA. Since then Paintball Ells Bells sold to Australia so Alfie is the only c**t of his bloodline in NZ.He is a black Tobiano, and will not produce a chestnut foal. He is really like a big pet with such a kind gentle soul, super easy to do anything with and takes everything in his stride. We have free jumped him and he has nice form over a jump. Alfie has been tested clear from Pssm1 and FIS he has also passed his vet check.

Alfie has produced some stunning foals that have all been coloured thus far and are proving to be fun, confident horses to work with, with his amazing temperament.

He will be available for AI only. His service fee is $800 plus collection costs and shipping.

Based in Whatawhata Hamilton.

Floris will be available to pure and cross bred mares. He has competed to Level 4 Dressage with placings and wins. This lovely boy throws quality foals with amazing temperaments. Floris is very uphill, athletic and has excellent movement.

Floris has his breeding permit with KFPS and He will be available only through AI.

Stud fee: $1,200 plus collection fees LFG.

Was going back through the photos of beautiful Floris over the past few years to try find some to put his stallion ad together and there’s just to many to choose from to do in one post so, first post of a few is of a photoshoot we did a few years back.

He’s such a photogenic horse and has the temperament to match his beauty. Truly grateful to still have this horse in my life!

Back from an incredible weekend down in Taupo with the Friesian society. A growing group where we all enjoy our beautiful black beauties, Aurora got to spend the weekend with her mum they were so cute together. Aurora and I also had another lesson with Debbie Barke, feeling very happy with how much she has changed within a short time frame amazing what consistency with training does! I feel this year she has chilled out so much and actually able to start working not in tension the whole time. Thank you to everyone who organised this fun weekend!

Had such an amazing time away at a Debbie Barke clinic recently, was awesome to spend time with new and old friends many many laughs and good times had.

Aurora and I had a lot of learning in the 3 days that we were there and have walked away with lots to work on, Debbie gave us lots of confidence and valuable information to help create a soft supple horse. I look forward to my next lesson in a few weeks at the Friesian clinic in Taupo. All motivated now!!

Such well behaved stallions, Floris and Alfie taking a stroll together back to their paddocks. Love these boys and how they’re so good to be around. Not to late to breed this season both boys are available!

I just had to share this video of Floris tonight, it makes me so happy and excited that after such a big journey we have been on to see him happy and barely even lame considering almost two years ago he was on deaths door and three legs. I always hold out hope that maybe one day I could ride him again because man what a horse he was to ride. We reached another huge milestone at his last shoeing on being able to be shod like a “normal” horse I say because we just have ordinary shoes on rather than pads and glue etc. I hope he keeps getting better who knows maybe he can be my trekking pony 🤞

Floris likes to start his Saturday morning off with a splash 🤦‍♀️

Floris went for a collection today, his little swimmers are exceptional with 90% Motility. He had 647 million sperm per ml!! Go Floris! He is having a great season it’s not to late if you want to breed to this beautiful boy. Below is a Video of the raw Sample. Thank you to Colette from SG Stud for taking such good care of him when he visits and making the process so easy.
