For those of you who don’t know me (I’ve been Instagram shy for a while), I’m Hollie the owner of Seaside Fido. 👋🏽
Happy New Year to all my lovely customers and ambassadors! Thank you for all your love and support, I appreciate each and everyone of you and every order big and small.
A special mention also to all the incredible NZ brands and artisan makers I work with, it’s so rewarding collaborating with such talent.
On reflection, it hasn’t been easy running a start up through a pandemic but as an immigrant (originally from the UK) I feel particularly fortunate to be here in New Zealand where the support local network is strong and the leadership (Jacinda fan girl here) is so inspiring.
If you’d have asked me where I’d be living a year ago I would never had guessed Queenstown. I’m so grateful for everything I have discovered here. 🏔
I feel more motivated than ever to continue to grow Seaside Fido, while staying true to our mission to provide dogs with the best sustainable, ethical and natural products on the market.
I’m really looking forward to finally launching my favourite product to date and hope you and your dog will love them as much as I do (coming soon).

Looking for a casual seamster/designer based in Queenstown - immediate start.

Pick your own hours and work from home for around 2-3 hours/week (likely to be more in the lead up to Christmas). The job will be mostly sewing with some design work/pattern making. You will require the right to work in NZ and have access to your own sewing machine along with other basic tools.

Must be:
-Reliable
-Able to sew to a high standard
-Experienced in pattern making (templates)
-Passionate about dogs and/or sustainability
-Willing to offer your opinions and expertise

Ideally:
-Able to occasionally meet in central Queenstown

$22.50/ hour
