Huge thanks to Simon from Maiden Group for the clearing and sorting of the big piles on site and the removal of the twitch grass (to be sieved through later) half a day that has saved us months of work! And to Thomas, Bexie and Lillee for getting stuck in around the polytunnel to go deeper to get the remaining twitch and start the mulching for the walkways around the site. Exhausted & Exhilarated to made such big moves

In March this year Cultivate Christchurch had their closing down sell, and during this process Lillee from Canterbury Permaculture Institute made a bold move to put a 1st hold on the main infrastructure on the Peterborough Str site, in hopes of taking on the site to continue the urban farm aspects of the operations.

1 week later will had the big thumbs up!

BIG THANKS to ...
Elisha from Life in Vacant Spaces for bringing this opportunity to us,
Food Resilence Network supporting this site to be the 2nd Edible Canterbury project site
Brigett from Piko Wholefoods Co-Operative and Murray from Maiden Group for the financial donation to enable us to purchase the infrastructure and get us started on this new adventure!
