Canine Retreat NZ We are a boutique boarding kennel exclusively for small canines. We are very proud of our philosophy and facilities.

Do contact us to arrange a meeting and visit the kennel. Canine Retreat is a boutique boarding kennel exclusively for smaller dogs. Our dogs spend the day together, with separate units at night. New clients are strongly encouraged to visit before making a booking, to ensure their dog will enjoy the social aspect of their stay with us. We aim to provide a homely, fun, comforting environment for our

dogs, and because we are a small kennel we get to know everyone pretty well. The dogs spend most of the day outside with us in the garden if the weather permits, or in the indoor communal area if it doesn’t. We have a structured day where our dogs have time to play, socialise, chill-out or just enjoy some TLC from their carers. We welcome dogs of all ages and will happily take care of guests with medical issues or physical difficulties. Nicola is a qualified veterinary nurse and dog trainer, with over 20 years experience working with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is lucky enough to have a small team of dedicated, experienced dog lovers to work alongside. We love visitors and would be happy to show you round.
