We have exciting news! Just over two weeks ago Sora welcomed 4 little ones into this world! They have grown fast and strong, and are all happy and healthy :D

Over the last couple of days we have opened our eyes, just begun to tottle around and wag our we tails. We are "Big Boy, Pink Boy, Socks (Boy) and Girl"

The girl and pick boy will be staying inside the Kado circle, with Socks and the other boy off to new homes in time.

Finally got around to posting these! Baby Puppy of Group x2

Kado Yumika Stands Out - Yumi

It was her show debut at the Purina Pro Plan AEC Open shows on the 11th of June and she was an absolute star. She was awarded Baby Puppy of Group for both shows with thanks to judges Karen Leslie and Richard King. Yumi was a delight in the ring, (far easier than Kubo 🤣) and we are really excited for what lies ahead for our wee girl

Some more Yumi pics. She's 10 weeks old now ❤️ still loves playing with Kit and as things are cooling down, she's worked out that the bed is warm, snuggly and very comfy. Momma Kubo is happy as too 😊

8 and a half weeks now!

As Yumika gets older she is learning more and more about how to behave with us, Kubo and Kit. We are slightly obsessed with trying to steal cellphones and the iPad (if she could carry it). Shoes, jandals, hoodie chords and anything string like are fun too as long as no one is looking.

Yumi is exploring more of the section but still (thankfully) stays mainly on the lawn areas. It's onward and upwards all the time with our wee girl!

Yumi continues to be a delight. She totally believes that she is the most ferocious wee cupcake in existence. We are 7 and half weeks old now, spending more time outside and love, love love playing with uncle Kit. See the videos 😊

Yumi is 6 weeks old today.

Show training has begun with table work and she is taking to it with flying colours! It's been a fairly wet week for us so we've been spending most of our time inside. Despite this, Uncle Kit loves it when Yumi comes out to play (see video) and she is definitely getting more confident around him. Mumma Kubo has turned total cuddle bunny and is definitely enjoying her couch time and naps.

Yumi Updates! Definitely getting more and more confident (or should we say bossy) and we have figured out that puppy loaf is amazing. Kubo has started trying to play more with Yumi and morning zooms are becoming a thing. I haven't been able to get it on video yet as Kubo has a 6th sense about being on camera.

We also now have a 2nd play pen set up in the lounge so she can hang out with us in the evenings, as well as being allowed out onto the lawn.

Yumi is 4 weeks old today and my oh my, what a difference a week makes. She now has "teefs", does puppy zoomies and has learnt that mamma Kubs does not appreciate her ears being used at chew toys. Puppy porridge is still bit scary but curious too.

It is delightful watching her experience more of the world bit by bit. All this world exploring requires many naps, and she definitely has a favourite position. On her back, legs up, mouth open, completely out to the world!

Yumi is 3 weeks old today and over the weekend she opened her eyes and is starting to get much more steady on her feet. Sights and sounds are now a thing, leading to her becoming more and more curious about her surroundings, us and of course mumma Kubo

We are 2 weeks old today! This little girl also now has a name: Yumika (唯美華). Yumi has more than tripled her birth weight and we are expecting eyes open in the next couple of days. She is very sweet and showing some strong sass, just like mumma Kubo.

Today, we are delighted to introduce the latest addition to the Kado team. This is Kubo's singleton daughter, born 10.02.22 🥰She is a delightful wee girl and growing very quickly. She does not have a name yet but we are madly in love and we intend on keeping her at home with us. Sorry to all puppy hopefuls, but keep your eyes peeled for more developments at Kado in the near future!

Today is a very special day for Kado Shiba Inu. We are very proud to announce that we are expecting our very first litter with our girl Kubo. Today her litter was confirmed by ultrasound with the due date February 10th 2022.

This litter has been the culmination of 3 years of work and the love and support of some very special people out there.
