Colder temperatures dont mean you should stop grooming or delay/extend the grooming duration for your fur babies. Remember the weather is changing NOT the coat growth.

Consider giving a longer trim to be able to keep them warm. Other grooming components needs attention too.A deshed is still required on a double coated dog to avoid any skin drying further that can cause hotspots,for better regulation of body temperature and to promote healthy skin and coat growth.

Keep your dog regularly groomed to avoid pain, and discomfort from knotting or matting.
