5 months in Melbourne has flown by so fast, and i’m amazed it’s taken this long to find myself a OTT to produce but at last… i found one 😍

I’m a bay horse girl through and through but am SO grateful to have picked up this beautiful lad from work who i have been riding the past couple of months.

After being offered an amazing job opportunity, I am off overseas again 🥲 This time is for alot longer tho so unfortunately everythings gotta go and im currently having a brain overload trying to go through all my horse gear to sell… everything needing gone will be advertised in the next couple of days so keep an eye out!

Rugs, exercise boots, bandages, saddle pads, back on track, assorted gear! Its all got to go (within 7 days because why not stress yourself out even more by leaving in a week) 👀😂

Urgently needing a new postcode, my loss is your gain 😭✈️

16.2/16.3hh 7 yr old TB gelding by Ghibellines.

Schooling nicely on the flat, has been xc schooling and was very brave and bold.

Gary is the most straightforward horse to handle and have around, not worried if hes by himself or with mates. Happy to hack on his own. No calling out or jig jogging, just a real happy guy to be out doing fun things. Great with dogs, farm anaimals and machinery.

I rode him trackwork for 3 years and he was always a safe, fun horse.

Gary oozes character and would make a gorgeous eventer for a brave teen or adult, or would be just as happy to go on adventures out trekking.

Will only go to someone who will abide by his 17 carrots and apples a day rule, the way to his heart is snacks 🐷

Been with me for 5 weeks now, lighten up a little after his trip to chch and getting him into a routine here but it doesn’t happen over night. He is so settled and a delight to work with. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for us 🥰🧡

When you are doing pre/post ride stretches with your horse, do yours fall asleep or is it just mine? 😅

On that note, can anyone please recommend a good physio/chiropractor in the Canterbury area (i’m in Darfield). Gary would loooove some body work 💆🏻👏🏻

A memory popped up today from 5 years ago, of a very special horse.

Retired as a 7 year old, with 42 starts for 7 wins under his belt, he arrived to me with a winter coat an inch long and a head carriage that resembled a llama.

The horse that made me fall in love with the thoroughbred breed, proving that even if they aren’t built for a sporthorse career, that they will still give you 110% every day.

Sammy struggled to hold his big body together so we never pursued an intense post life from racing for him, instead he made me appreciate the smaller things in life. He allowed most of my family to ride him around the arena, he would let me lead mulitple horses off him for some fitness around the paddock, he babysat every single TB i got from the track, i could run and jump on him in the paddock with no gear on if i was having a bad day, and every single day he would stand at the gate calling out for me.

We unfortunately lost him to a tragic paddock accident nearly 2 years ago, but he’s a horse that i will always appreciate and look back on to remind myself that sometimes you need to take the pressure off and just enjoy what you have infront of you! ❤️

This year he would have been turning 15, and not a day goes by where i dont miss him 🕊️

He’s here 🧡

Gary was quite possibly my favourite from day 1 when i worked at WRL (other than Five🤎), so to have him arrive here after retirement is extremely heart warming.

I must have been the only person in the country to back him when he won his maiden, i had faith in the big boy and i still do! He’s somewhat of a giraffe, but the kindest horse and i’m super excited to start a new journey with him.

Enjoy some old photos from back when he was a young fella, we’ll update it with some new ridden ones soon! 🦒

I’m baaaack 🙋🏻‍♀️

Hello friends, after my 8 weeks working holiday turned into a 6 months hiatus, I have the made the decision to move back to Christchurch! Having had the most amazing time working for Annabel Neasham Racing in Sydney, riding some stunning horses i would have happily bought home with me 🙈

Unfortunately for me, I rehomed my darling Five, (BUT to the best home where he is absolutely thriving so I cant be too sad about that one).

I have managed to find myself some gorgeous thoroughbreds to produce, which i am excited to introduce next week! So stayed tuned for some more pony adventures.

I will eventually open up for rehoming/schooling services so if you have anything dont be shy! I am so excited to get back into things here and offer this help again 🐎

Pictured is Roger, a overgrown labrador i have been hiding away for the last 9 years (he is unsound to ride, so is the worlds biggest and best paddock mate) 🤎

Ahh it’s been a long time since i’ve used this page, my 8 weeks winter trip to Aussie got extended, and now is being extended again so for that reason, my darling boy is up for sale! 🥲

I tossed up whether to keep him turned out, sell him or fly him over here but this seems like the best option for him!

SO… here we go

16.2hh 9 yr old gelding by Raise The Flag out of a Towkay mare.
Show jumped competitively to 1m, schooled 1.10m.
Had a couple quiet event outings to training but schooled over 105/1*

Did 1 hunt, jumped everything but other than that was absolutely awful. 2/10 Dont recommend taking him again 😂

Has all the talent in the world to jump a big track with beautiful movement to match.

Great to do anything with alone or in company, although not a fan of vets or the sharp needles that come with them 🙈

5* home only, I want to see this horse reach his full potential and unfortunately unless i get him on a plane, he wont be reaching that!

Incredibly sad sale.

Meg got to head off for her first beach trip and handled it great 🥰 Windy weather, somewhat high tide and sea foam flying round her feet, 3 dogs doing all the zoomies around her/in and out of trees, even jumped a couple logs! Walk, trot and cantered on a soft rein and then was happy walking infront or behind! Floated with a new friend and by herself too, nothing much phases this mare!! 😍 She is such a good girl but desperately needs to find her human! Open to offers 😊

Love how honest and brave this mare is to jump! Second time jumping OTT. Someone will make a nice eventer out of her!! 4 yr old 15.2hh by Ocean Park, still looking for a new rider 🤎

Nothing like throwing them in the deep in for their first ride! Opie had her first ride OTT today at the local PC grounds. Sweetly trotted and cantered round, popped some show jumps and xc jumps, in and out the water/drops happy as larry! A hot wee girl but once she settled into it she was great and super relaxed. No dirt just wants a job to do. 4 yr old mare by Ocean Park out of a Red Random mare. Roughly 15.2/15.3hh Clean straight legs, retired sound.

I was going to introduce a couple new faces today but ahh… we might wait until she’s a bit cleaner 🥴

Another new arrival to introduce once i‘ve given her a bath 🤦🏻‍♀️ 5 year old mare by Vespa, who currently resembles a pig 🙃

Loving having quiet country roads to get some fitness work in or just a nice happy hack! Five is enjoying it too 😍 Spaces available for schooling/rehoming 🐎

Early risers this morning! On route to the beach at 5.30am, such a good morning for it! Ollie cruising on a loose rein and then doing some flat work, probably the place he is most relaxed 🥰 (theres a surprise at the end, such a good boy putting up with my antics 😂)
