Hi, I’m Charley!

I'm a dog trainer and canine behaviourist based in the Rodney and North Shore regions of Auckland. I offer in-home consultations and private training from your home and in your local area. I also provide pack walks at a wide range of different locations.

My passion for dogs and the great outdoors started at a very young age. As a child you could say I was obsessed! You could find me every weekend creating obstacle courses for my dogs in the garden. I walked packs of dogs in my early 20s whilst studying at university and have been assisting with rescue organisations throughout my previous career in insurance.

I have recently taken the leap to start out on my own after gaining some skills and experience working for other dog trainers and having completed a variety of training courses. I have experience with basic obedience, puppy training, e-collar training, and even first aid for dogs! My training methods consist of a balanced combination of positive reinforcement and pressure-based techniques to help manage, prevent and modify unwanted behaviour. The goal is to ultimately help you communicate more effectively with your dog and stop any unwanted behaviour, whilst promoting the good ones!

I have worked with and owned many dog’s over my time and as a dog trainer there’s nothing I love more than seeing the relationship between dog and owner flourish and grow into a lifetime of trust, respect and happiness.
