Racing this week!

Northern Southland host a meeting tomorrow on our home track where we will take 4 runners

Race 3: No.3 Artmore - Ran a good placing in some rough conditions at Winton a few weeks back. Will be looking for a similar result here.

Race 4: No.1 Glenkenick - Good draw and will be looking to capitalise from it. (Driver: Hayden)

Race 7: No.2 Magic Sign - Just missed at Gore in what was a good effort. Similar field and back to his favourite track will make him a real contender here. (Driver: Hayden)

Race 10: No.1 Ten Da Touch - Contested well in last weeks 2nd. Draw upgrade and similar field makes him the best of the day (Driver: Hayden)

Racing this week!

After a pretty good day out at Winton last week, we have three going to Gore this Thursday

Race 3: No.2 Macandrew Markup - Had to sit parked in tough conditions last week. Will be competitive with a bit more going his way (Driver: Hayden Douglas)

Race: 6: No.3 Magic Sign - Found himself a suitable race here and hunting a penalty free. Has a good draw and will be looking to score.

Race 7: No.8 Ten Da Touch - First up for the stable. Had a sharp workout last week and can get a cheque. (Driver: Hayden)

Glenkenick gets up!

In very trying conditions, Glen managed to find a path through some tired horses to find the line in an exciting win! Congratulations to the Setarip syndicate and the Appleby syndicate, Glen was their first horse and first winner!

Artmore ran a good race also to grab herself a 3rd, making a good day out at Winton for the stable.

Also congratulations to our stable junior who had his first double today, winning on Glenkenick as well as South Seas Rock in the Feature pace!

Racing this week!

This Thursday we’re off to Winton

Race 3:
No.7 Macandrew Markup - Never saw clear air last week but had a lot in the locker. If he gets a run this week he will be a good chance. (Driver: Craig Ferguson)

No.9 Glenkenick - Ran on well after winding up, his draw could be a blessing or a curse depending on how things pan out. We will be happy as long as he hits the line well.

Race 5:
No.9 Artmore - Held up early in the run home and finished hard on the winners back last week. Draw is the big query here. (Driver:Hayden)

Horse in need of a home!

Unfortunately Winston here has an ongoing issue that is going to prevent him from becoming a racehorse.

He is the coolest little dude who loves being around other horses and people. As quiet as they come.

He is not suitable to be raced or ridden. He is looking for someone to take him on as a pet or paddock mate.

Invercargill - Thursday
Race 7:
No.1 Artmore - A bit too keen last week which cost her a result, a gear change and good draw has her right in the mix. (Driver: Hayden Douglas)

No.6 Magic Sign - Last start winner and back to his favourite track. Is never without a chance and expect him running on. (Driver: Craig Ferguson)

Race 8:
No.2 Glenkenick - Is working well and after fixing an issue he had at his latest workout, feels as though he can be a factor from his good draw this week

No.9 Macandrew Markup - This horse couldn’t buy some luck if he tried. A bad draw but expecting a good fresh up run from him (Driver: Craig)

Oamaru - Sunday
Race 5:
No.5 Always be Batman - Showed off on his first outing, bit of a step up but he’s earned his place in this field. (Driver: John Dunn)
