Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while! And yes I am still doing pet sitting, it's just trying to fit it around my schedule.

Most of you know how busy I usually am, trying to do a million things at once 😂

Also a few of you know that Iv'e been doing work experience at the zoo here in Hamilton as well, which tends to take up a lot of my time! It's such an amazing experience and I'm absolutely loving it 😁

I just want to say a huge thankyou to all of my clients that I have had over the past three years. I couldn't have done it without you guys! I have loved your pets as if they were my own, and will miss each and every one of them. (Please send me updates!!! 🐶)

Unfortunately I will not be doing as much Pet sitting in Katikati, Waihi or Waihi Beach as I will be in Hamilton most of the time now.

To all of my current pet sits - I will still honor the bookings that we already have. I just may not be taking anymore new people on in these areas anymore.

Any questions feel free to ask! I'll still be around most weekends and will still be able to be contacted.
Currently at the moment I am just finishing my website shop (www.purrfectpets.co.nz) so should hopefully soon have that up and running. I am also in the process of making all natural healthy cat and dog treats, so keep an eye out for those! 😻

Attention all male cat owners!

Recently we have been seeing a large number of male cats come into the clinic with blocked bladders.
Cats can get whats called 'crystals' in their bladder which is like sludge.
The sludge then makes its way from the bladder into the urethra and then blocks the p***s, making no way for urine to exit.

Symptoms of a blocked bladder:
- Straining to urinate
- Vocalising when trying to urinate
- Licking his p***s constantly
- Seems sore around abdomen
- Constantly digging in garden or littertray
- Producing small amounts of bloody urine as this maybe the start of his bladder being blocked

If you notice your male cats is having any of these symptoms please contact the clinic immediately as this problem can be fatal without treatment.
